Asking for language and download location at every start.
Hi
Every time I start JDownloader I get a window (one that looks like the one during installation. It's even titled "JDownloader installation") asking me to set up my language and download location. Then I get a popup saying "Update successful". It happened to me when I was running Win7 and it's happening now on Win8.1. I've made all the exceptions in the firewall and also tried running it with my anti virus turned off. Anyone had a similar problem? |

Hi,
Are you running JD with administrator rights? Maybe the problem is caused because there are not enough privileges to run JD were you have it.

I am. I even gave the installer admin rights just to be sure. Tried everything with antivir/firewall off. No luck. Where are those settings being kept btw? Is there an .ini file or something?

Ok. After the last Java update (i think. I didn't do anything else) the problem disappeared. Thanks.
