Default Captcha in headless mode

Hi everyone,

[long story short]
I have reason to believe that captcha resolution system doesn't work on headless JD2.
Maybe I'm missing something, but this behavior is reproducible. See below.

[full story]
I'm trying to configure JD2 to run on my Linux headless server (ArchlinuxARM, SunXi-7, OpenJDK7, to be exact). For this purpose, I use the headless mode as described in the thread of this section
Code:
$ javaw -Djava.awt.headless=true -jar Jdownloader.jar
and I manage JD2 from web interface and Android application.
Alas, I do not receive captchas to solve, or rather, I receive notification of those (both on web and app) but not the captchas (as if they immediately timeout).
My only possibility to get a download to start, is hope for some automated solver (because yes, they work). I tried different settings, but none allows me to see and solve captcha remotely.

I tried to reproduce this behavior on a "clean" JD2 (on Windows 8.1 x86, JRE8).

[steps to reproduce]
  1. Download JD2 ad-free installer (JDownloader.jar)
  2. Run as normal (with GUI)
    Code:
    > javaw -jar JDownloader.jar -forceupdate
  3. Set up proper configuration for headless mode, as described in thread dedicated to JD2 on NAS:
    * bubble notifications: never
    * icon in the tray: disabled
    * Silent mode: on
    + Off silent mode on every reboot: off
    * myjd account (of course)
  4. I also disabled some captcha solvers: I left active only JAC, JD window and my.jdownloader.org.
  5. Add a link to download list
  6. Start downloads.
    JD captcha window is immediately shown, and I receive (immediately[1]) notification of captcha on both app and web interface. Captcha can be solved via both app and web.
  7. Stop downloads and completely close JD2.
  8. Run JD2 in headless mode (always on windows).
    Code:
    > javaw -Djava.awt.headless=true -jar Jdownloader.jar
  9. Open my.jdownloader.org and start downloads (same single link on my list).
  10. After hosting waiting time, I receive captcha notification on both app and browser, but no captcha to be soved and JD2 immediately resumes waiting countdown.
Note:
Web interface's icon "captcha waiting" lights up for a split second.
Notification appears on Android app, then disappears soon after.
Note 2:
I tried several combinations of configurations, also with option "SilentModeSettings: On Captcha During Silent Mode Action" even if I don't even know if "wait in the background..." rather that other values has effect in headless mode.
I also tried disabling JD GUI captcha solver, which imho is useless in headless mode.

So, I don't know if I'm missing something or it's really a bug.

I therefore ask you.

---
[1] The fact that (when JD2 runs with GUI) app/web captcha notification appears simultaneously along with JD captcha window, makes me suspect that captcha solvers priority system is not working as expected.

what happens when you disable jac?
maybe jac kicks in and "solves" the captcha.
Maybe also provide a screenshot of your anticaptcha settings (solver..)

About previous test configuration, here the screenshots of anticaptcha solvers setting: everything is untouched except disabled solvers checks. So, default solvers settings, default order/timeout, ...

If I disable JAC and JD GUI, same behavior occurs:
  • on normal/GUI mode I receive the actual captcha on my.jdownloader.org web interface (see attached screenshot);
  • on headless mode I can see Chrome notification appear and disappear and "captcha waiting" icon blink, but no captcha to solve.
Need help

Default Temporary workaround

Temporary workaround. Stopping jdownloader, copy attached Core.jar from 10.02.15 in the jdownloader root folder and try again.

First of all, thank you very much!
Do you know what has been changed into newer version of core.jar?
