Default Jdownloader is Suddenly Creating Sub-Folders

I've checked and checked my settings over the past 3 days and can't figure it out. My files have two destinations, my download folder and my extract folder, that's it. I've used JD for a LONG time and I'm completely baffled.

By default this rule is enabled, https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...ackage-feature
It depends HOW you're adding links for that rule to be used or not. If you don't want subfolder, disable this rule. Please know that only new added links are affected by it. Existing links must be changed via rightclick context menu
