I like to have both downloads/linkgrabber table sorted in the order of newest to oldest added date. this get reset once restarted jd.

Hi,
do you mean the real sort or the view (= column is yellow when sorted as view but not real sort).

By holding down Strg and clicking on a column, you can perform a "real" sort which will/should be saved - at least it's working fine here.

Well then you've never downloaded your files in your desired order^^
