Default Automation Backup

Hi,

I searched in forum without success.

I wish to backup in windows 10 or server, my JD2, every day, in automatic.

I wish to save or all JD settings and Download Queue and Link Collector, or only Download Queue and Link Collector.

1 - Is possible ? How ?

2 - And is possible also if JD is running ? Or needed to shutdown ? In this case how can i shutdown, backup and download again in automatic ?

I wish do that to prevent any loss data.

Thanks for the support.

Hi,
if you want everything, simply use an external tool to backup your complete "cfg" folder you can find in your JD installation directory.

JDownloader does auto-backups of linkgrabber list and downloadlist but only keeps the last 6 ones by default so this should not be considered as a "real" backup.
Alternatively you could also just backup your complete JDownloader folder as JDownloader will work fine as "portable" installation without requiring any installation/registry keys (Windows).

Yes should be okay.
As long as you do not write into that folder and just copy it you'll be good.

For everyone i solve in this way:

in windows task to create a .rar about JD:

"C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe" A -r C:\Users\USER\Desktop\BACKUP\JD_BACKUP.rar "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\JDownloader 2.0" -hpYOURPASS

then an app that synch your folder in cloud. ( i'm looking for this step )

Thanks for the support

@robertus: it would be enough to copy/backup the cfg folder only
