JDownloader stops downloads suddenly constantly
New build installed today. Downloads stop periodically before all downloads complete, have restarted several times, but it keeps doing the same thing.
Anyone have a idea? Thanks. |

JDownloader stops downloads suddenly constantly
Since a few hours, without any obvious reason and still existing after today's update, JDownloader keeps just stopping all downloads. Currently downloading files are being stopped and have to be re-downloaded after the next start, or continued (depending on wether the host allows that). It happens so often I barely can download any 100 MB file w/ my 500 kbit/s connection; sometimes it happens after 1,45 MB, sometimes I can download a whole file.
The specific message of the bubble notifier when this happens is "All downloads stopped or finished.", just as like I had manually stopped it or all downloads were finished, but as I mentioned above, most of the times the downloads are running and almost never finished; it just stops in the middle of the process. There is no menu.

Just click on "help" in the menubar and then on "create log", then copy the short text that should look similar to mine in the line that starts with "Log" and post it here.

Probably is a bug. We will wait for some feedbacks of that.
For the main topic of this thread (stops downloads constantly), could you please compress the folder logs and send the compressed file via EMail to support@jdownloader.org, also make reference to this thread. Please let me know if you do that. Thanks in advance.

For you @jatenk because you haven't the menu to create the log.

From what I can tell, it seems to be a timeout problem.
JD2 has always been operating rather sluggish with the GUI being unresponsive for a couple of seconds in certain situations or downloads being interrupted for a brief time. However, before the last update, JD2 would always resume its operations after whatever tasks causing the interruptions (paging or loading additional code into memory?) finished. Now this kind of interruption somehow seems to stop the download process permanently. |

Having the same issue since the latest updates yesterday. What seems to be happening for me occurs mostly when one download finishes it just stops all others.

Just asking because that would be another of those resource-intensive tasks that in the past sometimes caused JD2 to be briefly unresponsive and may now abort the download completely (see my post above). |

Dont know if it did every time it stopped. But last time it did and started extracting a rar-archive. Also working on an older machine, so its very possible you are right. Ill try turning off auto-extract and CRC-Checks till the problem is fixed and see if its working any better EDIT: Okay, just froze for a few seconds while changing the settings and stopped the downloads again. So your theory seems to be correct. Last edited by Stevey; 01.11.2013 at 09:50. |

same problem on Mac OS X 10.9 updated JDownloader.
Searching for a workaround, looked at "GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings: Windows Window Manager Foreground Lock Timeout", it reports -1 and trying to change goes to error (invoking "reg"): maybe it is a Windows-only setting |

JD stop itself
Hi, I never had any problem with JD since years but yesterday it made an auto update, and since, it stop the download ("all download stopped or finished") by itself after few seconds, whatever the file/host/speed downloaded!
i dont know what to do. |

yes man the last update is very wrong in all ways, JD Team have released the update too soon without enough testing, it has a lot of bugs and a lot more to discover.
Try reseting all the download list. |

New here. Using JDL for quite some time.
Same problem here. OSX 10.9 Mavericks. System running smoothly, stable and without any issues whatsoever. Java up to date. All downloads stopping after some time (minutes, seconds, kinda erratic) telling me in a funny new bubble via news/info central that all downloads have now been finished, completed and stopped. Have to restart all downloads again. And again. Annoying, and irritating, to say the least. This needs to be adressed *very* fast by all those great people who know how to deal with such things (i have no clue of the technical side here). Thanks for any effort in this regard. |

Download stoppt neuerdings nach wenigen Minuten selbstständig
Hallo,
Als Hinweis kommt dann jedesmal "All downloads stopped or finished". |
