I didn't know extensions had to be whitelisted. I'm thinking of all the times I used JD as a generic catch-all http downloader, and now you tell me I could have been missing all kinds of files without knowing it? The paranoia is killing me man... Last edited by radorn; 19.06.2019 at 15:35. |

we only listen to select file extensions, you can add your own outside of us by linkcrawler rule.

JDownloader has site specific plugins , eg instagram or google drive and thousand others and then some known file extensions. You don't want JDownloader to download/request your *pay xy dollar to z* link
As JDownloader monitors the clipboard a catch-all would basically mean, every link(shopping, social media...) would be processed by JDownloader and I'm sure neither you nor we do want that to happen
