Default Real Debrid issues.

Hi, when I download some files on Jdownloader, I see some files that has the same name as the download, but with an extension .part. Some part files have 0 bytes, and some of them have the same size as the downloaded file. Is it safe to delete them?

Update: if I deleted the part file with the same size as the downloaded file - the video appear to be corrupted and won't play.

Update 2: It actually turns out if there is a part file for each affected file, I need to reset the download and the part file seems to disappear once finished downloading.

Could this be a bug? I'm downloading from Mega BTW

.part files are the *partitial download* files Once the download is completed/error free it will be renamed/copied to the final file. You should not mess with them.

I'm sorry but what exactly is the problem?

Mega downloads are encrypted. That's why you cannot playback them before download/decryption is finished

Ah I think I found out the issue - it turns out that I made too much connections per file (I did 8 connections per file with simultaneous 3 file downloads). I reduced the number of simultaneous downloads to 2 and it seems to work nicely

I did have Real-debrid enabled BTW

Also, reducing the number of connections didn't work either.

Default Realdebrid connections keeps decreasing

27.02.17 10.41.36 <--> 27.02.17 16.13.41 jdlog://6170479150841/

I have a real-debrid account, and I know that it supports up to 32 connections.

Now when I download by using 32 connections (4 simultaneous downloads with 8 connections each), it works very well and maxes out my 50Mbit/s connection.

However after several hours, the connection drops from 32 connections to 20 connections and it still keeps dropping (as the time of writing). The speed also drops too and no longer maxes out my connection.

I'll need to stop the download, but when I resume, the maximum number of connections seem to stuck at just 18 connections, and the speed is around 1.8MB/s.

I'm downloading Mega files via Real-debrid, BTW
