This link downloads up to 99.X, and then resets and starts over. I've run this for a good while obvliviously to the resetting, wasting my data quota on my mettered connection. |

Sorry, I can't keep throwing bandwidth at this. I have a tight quota and can't keep trying this at 300+MB a pop
Just two comments. In the end, I found that the file did finish downloading somehow. The filename was like "filename.rar.something" I don't remember what the "something" part was. But I checked it with an archiver and there were no errors. Yet, it still tried to redownload it over and over, to a different filename... I don't know. And I'm already downloading with a limit of a single chunk, since I'm on mobile and all that. (I tether an android phone to the PC, because I can't afford broadband now) Last edited by radorn; 25.01.2023 at 21:46. |

Please go to ipv6-test.com with the connection you're also using to download and post a screenshot of your results here (you can censor personal data).

I don't have IPv6, if that's the question. I USB-tether my phone to my PC for internet access. Can't do better at the moment.

Try the following:
1. Go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> InternetConnectionSettings.preferredipversion -> Set this to "IPV4_IPV6" 2. Restart JDownloader and try downloading again. If this does not help: Reset that setting back to default ("SYSTEM").

I wish I could keep throwing megabytes at this and figure out the problem, but it's just too much for my traffic quota. I don't even know for sure how many times this kept re-downloading before I noticed the problem. As I said befor, it seems the file DID download in the end, even if it kept restarting for whatever reason, so I already have it. Maybe I'll try once more, if you really think it'll help, but I don't know... It's a tight budget that I have and I don't feel like to keep throwing resources at this, and you already said it runs well on your end.
Maybe there was something changed in an update, or something went wrong in a weird way that won't happen again... It feels like a wild goose chase. |
