Please excuse this stupid question. I re-imaged my computer and forgot to backup the existing JDownloader2 settings. I've combed the board for the proper settings without success. It worked fine on my old instalation, but can't find the magic "switch" to get it to work.

When downloading from imagefap.com, I'm getting the error, "rate limit reached user prefers reconnect over captcha solving (imagefap.com)."

I have the JDownloader extension installed on Firefox, and seem to remember that I needed to enable some of the setting options in JD to get the captcha to display in Firefox.

I'd appreciate a pointer to the answer.

Settings -> Plugins -> imagefap.com -> First checkbox

I've enabled that box, but still get the error with no notice of a capcha.

Restart JDownloader after changing that setting.
If it still doesn't behave as expected, please provide example URLs and a log.

According to your log that setting is still wrong.
You need to disable that checkbox inside the imagefap.com settings.
I'm sorry I didn't state that in my first reply since I thought the setting was wrong but it was already correct.

When the checkbox is disabled, JD shoulöd ask you to solve those captcha instead of waiting.

That did it! The lesson I've learned from this experience is to exit the program and restart after making changes. Lesson #2 BACK UP MY SETTINGS!
