Default Turbobit: I can download in Chrome browser but not in JDownloader

Hi,

I can download a file from turbobit in Chrome browser but I cannot download the same file through JDownloader. In JD I get the message "Skipped - Account is missing." After I got this message in JD I tried to download the same file in the Chrome browser and there it was easy to start downloading that file.

Until yesterday I had a premium account at turbobit, but it expired yesterday. After starting JD I removed that premium account from JD through Settings > Account Manager before adding the turbobit link to the file.

Of course I'd prefer to download it through JD. Why is it that I am unable to download this file in JD while it is no problem in the Chrome internet browser?

Edit:

The problem is only with turbobit, no problems downloading from other hosts.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
according to your log, turbobit.net replied with error "HTTP/1.1 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" on download-attempt.
The same file from your log can be downloaded fine here.

Hi psp, welcome back!

I've got a few questions regarding turbobit. I hope you don't mind.

I can understand that sometimes a service may be unavailable, but why then does JD display (in the status column on the downloads tab) an "account is missing" and not a "service unavailable" text for downloads for which an account isn't even required?

When I open the downloadlink in the Chrome browser, the domain name of the turbobit site is first garbled into "turbobeet" in the address bar, leading to an internet error message. Only after correcting that garbled name to the correct name of "turbobit" do I reach the correct place for the download. Meaning that I am able to reach the turbobit site and download the file through Chrome while at exactly the same time this proves to be impossible in JDownloader.

How can it be that at your place JD can download the file without any problem, while I can only download from turbobit through the Chrome browser at my place? And this doesn't happen just once, it happens every time when I try to download from turbobit through JDownloader.

I just mean to say that at exactly the same time when the service is readily available for download in the Chrome browser it is not available in JD. Not ever. That is to say, for me. This strange behavior started shortly after my turbobit premium account ended a few weeks ago.

This feels like I'm getting a "special" treatment.

Here's my latest log:

If an error happens, JDownloader should always display the same/similar errormessage that you can see in your browser.
If it doesn't this can be considered a bug which you should report to us.

That is not a bug.
Turbobit owns a lot of domains and turbobeet.net is one of them.

I can't find any download attempts or errors in your log.
Did you maybe add an account usage rule and disabled free mode in JDownloader?
If so: Allow free downloads again and turbobit free downloads should work just fine.
If not:
Please trigger the problem and provide a fresh log:

Please post your log-ID here
If your bugreport is about a specific website which JD supports via plugin, please also provide example URLs which can be used to reproduce the issue you are having.

Bitte poste deine Log-ID hier.
Falls dein gemeldetes Problem ein Problem mit einer Webseite ist, die per Plugin unterstützt wird, stelle bitte zusätzlich Testlinks zur Verfügung, mit denen sich dein Problem nachstellen lässt.

I didn't know that. When trying to download from turbobit in Chrome I had noticed that Avast would always trigger a threat warning and then immediately terminate the connection to that site. So I just went checking for turbobeet.net at VirusTotal and there were only 2 very minor warnings about that site, which made me think that Avast might be a little oversensitive in this case. After adding turbobeet.net to the exceptions list in Avast I was no longer directed to turbobeet.net but immediately to turbobit.net like before. So that also eliminated threat warnings from Avast.

That's the solution! A few weeks ago I had indeed added an account usage rule and disabled free mode in JDownloader and had completely forgotten to set it to enabled again. I've now set it to allow free downloading again and now downloading from turbobit is working perfectly again in JD. So there's no more need to download through Chrome, which is quite a relief.

Thank you for your perceptive analysis and advice!

To be honest it isn't the most serious way to provide a website.
For the curious:
Here is a list of all turbobit domains which our plugin "knows" at this moment:
Code:
turbobit.net, ifolder.com.ua, turo-bit.net, depositfiles.com.ua, dlbit.net, hotshare.biz, sibit.net, turbobit.ru, xrfiles.ru, turbabit.net, filedeluxe.com, filemaster.ru, файлообменник.рф, turboot.ru, kilofile.com, twobit.ru, forum.flacmania.ru, filhost.ru, fayloobmennik.com, rapidfile.tk, turbo.to, cccy.su, turbo-bit.net, turbobit.cc, turbobit.pw, turbo.to, turb.to, turbo-bit.pw, turbobit.cloud, turbobit.online, turbobit.live, wayupload.com, turb.cc, turbobit5.net, turbobith.net, turbobi.pw, turbobbit.com, turbobyt.com, trubobit.com, turboget.net, turbobiyt.net, turbobif.com, turbobite.net, tourbobit.com, turbobitn.com, turbobeet.net
Some of them may be offline but they will remain in our list in order to catch such links because old content can still be online.
