shorte.st
Example Link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Most of the time it asks for captcha some times it doesn't ask for captcha while in the browser it's possible to bypass them all the time (checked 10 times before posting this issue) using this script **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Also, when few times that JD2 doesn't ask for captcha gets a rubbish file as well. |

As far as I can tell it uses croud collected database for bypass. At the moment we won't add such services. We don't want to send links around the world to other services. Any developer is free to add this functionality and we can add it optional.
In case it works offline/without crowd, then of course we can look into it and add support for it, like I've done with different bypass suggested from you Your example link didn't require a captcha and worked fine.

Yes, that's what I said it requires sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, it grabs a garbage/offline file as well (if you don't finish the captcha then).

I did not assume, I looked at the source and on first view it looked/looks like crowd. Will check again

I can provide a link that leads to multiple shorte.st links or you can just keep adding the same link simultaneously for 4 or 5 times to check.

Did you manage to reproduce the issue (I was talking about) at least?

Paste it into LinkGrabber. |

If I don't finish captcha, then I get a *Wrong Captcha* entry in linklist for later retry via rightclick context menu. Could not find/reproduce any error.

Yeah, that's more or less what I meant/said. I'd suggest adding Adsbypasser (**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**). Since it's updating daily you won't have to worry about most of the bypassable links, just a thought tho.

You cannot simply add a browser extension to JDownloader I still have to double check the plugin for shorte.st but still think its crowd based solution for this site

Understandable. Btw, it's a javascript. Umm, don't mind but don't think/assume when you can easily check it.

Again, No offense intended. I already know that you are more experienced in this field.

Javascript != Java and it's javascript for within browser extension. JDownloader doesn't have/use any DOM/html/css/Javascript. That's why we have to check how it works and then convert the bypass into java.

Thanks, so Adsbypasser doesn't use crowd collected bypass (if you figured the solution reading their code I mean)?

I did not check other sites but only shore.st and the other service.
The websites in question simply don't validate Recaptcha and so you can skip Captcha completely

Yes, that's what I knew. They don't use crowd collected bypass, even for other sites. Thanks for fixing it tho.
