Default No Internet Connection

Hi,

After updating the JDownloader 2, I get an error that there's no internet connection and it cannot connect to Updateserver. Though, I am able to login to My JDownloader and to download some new files. Also, I disabled every firewall and antivirus program and still nothing.

is there a log in your security software to see activity ? maybe its still been blocked? some security software has live scanners which are seperate settings/functions

Not sure about that. In the Windows firewall, I added the JD and the JD updater as a trusted program. The weird part is that it was working fine until I updated the JD. (The last time I updated it was probably six months ago).

I have exactly the same problem,so after trying various things I uninstalled and tried to reinstall from the website now I get a window that says "the updater cannot connect to the internet!please check your connection settings...." Type direct and the rest of the window is greyed out.My connection is fine I can connect to everything via my browser

Thank you, after running the windows 360 defender fully, and restarting JD, I was able to connect again.

sounds so strange that you had to fully run antiviral software to release some internal block preventing applications from running until completed.

thanks for the follow up feedback never the less, maybe this can help others.
