Hello there!

Been using JD2 for quite a while now and love it immensely. My primary usage is to get video files off Google Drive but I've come across some problems related to that recently.

I have 2 specific Google Drive folders that will not appear inside the LinkGrabber tab no matter how I try. One of them, filled with video files (.TS), is shared with my personal gmaill address (I have also added this gmail address to JD2 so access shouldn't be an issue) and the other folder is a public folder, filled with an editing pack I purchased (.ZIP, .AEP, .MOGRT, .DOCX).

The LinkGrabber shows the folder as "Plugin Defect!1ToeifFEfDdw9kjMbVldq-jdrJWOS19dT" with an unknown size.

What could be the issue?

Hi there,
I turned on debug mode and added both links to JD2 again but something different happened this time.

The 2nd folder (editing bundle) was picked up just fine by LinkGrabber but the 1st folder does not appear at all, it does not even say the plugin defect message anymore.

Where do you want me to post the link to the folder? Right here? I would prefer somewhere more private though.

Your log looks good and it already contains the URLs I need (otherwise you could have sent them to me via private message).

I can't find any issues there and also both of your URLs seem to be public folders - those will usually work fine.
Did you maybe filter/hide some filetypes in the linkgrabber top right corners -> "File Types" -> Is anything deselected there?

If it keeps failing, you may want to add a Google Drive API Key to JDownloader and try again. Instructions:

I'm having the same problem, and I made sure that JD2 was completely up to date. Here's what I'm trying to download: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

It just gives a bunch of files names "Plugin Defect!" (followed by a bunch of Base64 characters).

According to your logs you're running into googles rate-limit ("error 429 roo many requests").
I've added a better errorhandling for this but it won't fix this for you.

Here is what you can do:

• Wait and try again later

Thanks! Now it doesn't show the "Plugin Defect!" errors. Just have to wait and hope the problem gets fixed on their end (i.e. they increase their rate-limit).

As said it doesn't happen here so I wouldn't wait for google to "fix" anything.

My guess is that they think you're a bot and thus rate-limit you even more.
You could try it with a VPN and [another] google account - that could also help.
