Default Save the Settings...

I observed that JDownloader do not attribute settings changes globally, but it will assigns them to the currently inserted links with currently settings at the time.

I cannot set global settings to all links.
That is not so bad, because that allows for example to save the specific files to specific folder destination, but that reqires remove the links and put them again to the list.

It should be possibility to set the settings to evry file or group files separately and globally also too.

Which settings do you want to set on links?
Did you already check out JDownloader 2 BETA and the Packagizer?

If you can't save the settings, then something in your PC prevents JD to save it.

This issue seems unique to you. As psp indicated in your other thread about the same issue, changing setting works for new links entering linkgrabber. These settings are saved as you make the changes. If it's not working in JD2 also please give us more information so we can at least try to reproduce and or figure out what is the cause.

BTW modern mac systems use common hardware, Apple stopped developing desktop hardware years ago. They also switched away from original OS into MacOS X era, which is modified Unix OS. Effectively they just put their logo onto systems and charge some inflated price.

Don't fight the system, use it to your advantage. :]

So a MAC is not a personal computer. Is it a mainframe computer or just a gadget?
This is getting nowhere... should we close this?
