Cannot run JD from eclipse
Hi,
Just started viewing the code of JD from this http://jdownloader.org/knowledge/wik...nt/get-started manual. I did all the the steps as explained in the manual but I get "Could not find the main class: jd.utils.UpdateDevWorkspace. Program will exit." error message when I try to "first run" it as explained. Why ? BTW there is a big red exclamation mark on the SVN project "Jdownloader [trunk]" Except from the Javadoc inside the code is there any other documentation that explains "who does what" for every package and class ? THNX :whistling: Last edited by Jiaz; 29.01.2011 at 15:29. |

did you checkout ALL svn repos?
UpdateDevWorkspace is available and works fine, maybe your checkout is incomplete? please try again

OK fixed it
Just removed all 4 previous repos started a new perspective and then I repeated the whole process again and it worked.
Now to update/sync with concurrent version & updates of JD I run the UpdateDevWorkspace.java class right ? What about further documentation for the novice Java programmer ?? This manual for instance was great but I need much more of those to really dig deep inside this great project Is there any UML files for JD ? THNX ;) |

uml no and further documentation is done when we have time to do it
right now i suggest to start by coding plugins and taking an existing one as an example. its pretty easy in case you have questions you can visit supportchannel and ask us you only need to start updatedevworkspace in case new images/libs are added.
