I notice that when starting download manually one by one for files under the same package name WON'T place them in the SAME package in the DOWNLOADS tab.
I have a package with about 10 files all inside that same package in the LinkGrabber tab. I right click one file and start the download and moves the package and file to the Downloads tab. I go back to LinkGrabber tab and start the download for the next file inside the same package as above. That file moves to the Downloads tab too, BUT IT "RECREATES" THE PACKAGE. It becomes a separate menu entry INSTEAD of MERGING with the existing menu entry with the same title. Just tested your problem and that just seems to be how JD chooses to display things in the downloads tab. This should not affect the download location of the files even if you have Subfolder by Package name enabled. Hope this helps.
![]() Edit: If you download the entire package or select all the files in the package to download at the same time they will all be in the same package in the downloads tab. |

All I can add is, this is intended behaviour and how JD has always behaved. If you want to add them in single package you need todo this at the time sending them to download tab.

You can create/use a script (javascript language) in Eventscripter to merge them.
