K2S Plugin - cannot check account
Hello.
I have a K2S premium account which has worked fine with the plugin ever since I started using it months ago, but tonight when I logged into JD2 it refreshed the accounts I have all except for K2S; it kept saying verification failed, cannot check account and put a 10 minute suspension on the account. I tried refreshing several times, deleted the plug-in, re-added it, closed JD2, restarted computer, tried checking I had up to date version, all of that, but made no difference. Here is the log generated in the time period. 10.08.17 22.28.52 <--> 10.08.17 22.59.25 jdlog://7081314015941/ Any ideas? I did try looking if anybody has any current K2S issues, but could only see an old "solved" thread that somebody has made a comment on today regarding the plugin use on free accounts which was not relevant to me. Thanks Clive Sims |

ok - well maybe I was a little premature sending this, I only waited a couple of hours before sending this, but wouldn't you believe it, 5 mins after making this report, the issue fixed itself, my guess is that it was something to do with K2S, although all along I could log in directly on my web browser with no issues - go figure.
Thanks anyway if any JD2 developers get this far when they read thread. Clive |

you can get blocked by there firewall which will result in socket timeouts. Since you're the only one that reported it I'd say you had a temp ban imposed upon your ip address.

Hi Raztoki
Yes that would seem quite possible, but if that were the case and my IP had some sort of temporary block, it seems odd that I could still log in direct via my web browser interface. Anyhow, all is good, I have had no further problems since last night and hope that I don't moving forward. Its the first time that has ever happened in all my years of using K2S on JD2 Clive |

@FSchmertz: log contains no sign of k2s. You have to enable debug mode first. Did you try to remove/add account?

tried to remove/add, just getting a popup labeled "Jdownloader checks if logins are correct" and an eternal progress bar.
Thought I had debug mode enabled. I've reported in the past and didn't attempt to change anything. Could you point me to the instructions to do that again? |

btw, having the same issue with fileboom, so it seems somethings going on with that entire outfit.
As noted, I can log into my premium account, but jd2 can't. |

Can you please create a new log and just start 1 download at the same time please?

Maybe you got blocked by api. Go to Settings-Plugins-search for keep2share and disable api and try again.

Suddenly it started to work again.
The API thing kinda doesn't make sense, since it was also happening with my fileboom account. And how would I have downloaded if jdownloader couldn't recognize my premium account? As free? Maybe they're being attacked? |

Also note that I complained to k2s, so maybe they fixed something?

Either they fixed something or were working. Log shows that JDownloader did login, got a session and session was immediately expired.
So it is working again? Fileboom and K2s share the same api

Yep, it's working again.
But for how long? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Last edited by FSchmertz; 11.08.2017 at 19:04. |
