Remove selection
Hello.
I have a problem with removing selection from packages on the download page. When I click on some package or press ctrl+A to select them all, I can't cancel it with esc button. It is selected all the time and the package properties window is visible. Is it a bug or there is some other way to get rid of the selection? |

What OS are you using?
Just tested and working fine here. Select All via CTRL+A, and then hit ESC Maybe you have customized and bound ESC hotkey to some other Action? What happens when you select via mouse? does it change or still all selected?

I use windows 10 home (up to date). I can select anything I want but can't undo the selection. It happens only in downloads tab, in link grabber it works fine - I can remove selection with esc.

Nothing has changed in JDownloader and still working fine here (tested on Windows and Linux).
I'm sorry but "can select anything but can't undo selection" when you select a single link/package, then selection should change to just this? Or what do you mean by "can select anything" then?

I mean selection works just fine. I can select one package, multiple with ctrl, shift or all of them with ctrl+A. When I have multiple packages selected I can still click on one of them and selection goes only to this one package - works as it supposed to.
The problem is esc does not work so I can't get rid of this single selection and package details form is displayed all the time. If it works on your end it is probably some error in my configuration and reinstall should repair it. |

Try the following. Go to Settings->User Interface-> there you can customize the toolbars, rightclick context menus...
open the editor of DownloadTable rightclick, Main Toolbar, Main Menu, Download Tab Bottom.. and you can reset each one at bottom of dialog and save. Maybe you did assign ESC action to something else and that's the reason why it no longer works for you

Thank you! You were right. Auto confirm button had esc shortcut key assigned.
The problem is this button has esc shortcut assigned by default, so if it is added to menu esc does not work. Maybe community dark mode mod makes it this way, I am not sure. |

Thanks for the feedback! Glad that we could find the cause
I've removed ESC default shortcut for that action with next core update
