some times, you get different localised youtube cache servers, they might not have the given file. They mainly do cache servers at the localised level (within your ISP or local Internet Exchange), the switch servers/cache by DNS records and http redirects. I've had this issue a couple times over the last year or so. Generally not caused by JDownloader, and more so how the cookie crumbles.

Whenever I download a video from YouTube using today’s beta of jD 2, the file name will have all its special characters percent-escaped. Here is an example:

So everytime i download a youtube link it gives me "try restarting this link (plugin outdated?)

it downloads it fine it just doesn't rename it (i end up with a file that looks like "dcrOVqX7428_null_DASH_AUDIO_256K_AAC.dashAudio")

I can rename it find and it will work but its just kind of annoying to have to do that every time.

In my opinion, I think JDownload 2 no longer works, is in beta version ok, but before worked better, anyway.

I think youtube should go to hell with their likeing plugins:outch:, also that you limit the links by country, they punish you by pure nonsense, anyway, since last year with him such "ffmpeg.exe", the problems started with what to JDownload until the time not been able to solve.

for 1080p is better using RealDownloader of Realplayer

This does not fail. (But this process is more time consuming)

maybe it would be good reviewing the codecs RealDownloader

The 1080p video file keeps getting "Try restarting this link". The 1080p audio file was downloaded, sort-of. When it got to 100% completion, it too went to "Try restarting this link". But, the full file appears to be there, as a *.m4a.tmp file. There was no problem downloading the JPG image.

I tried restarting the video portion at least 5 times, all failed.

Log creation failed, twice. After the preparing dialog box closed, the dialog box that is supposed to be displayed with the value, never showed up.

UPDATE: Did a restart and got a log entry:

UPDATE #2:

I have the latest software installed. I did a reset of the above video and surprise, it downloaded the video portion. But, when it was done, it again did a "Try restarting this link". Then it did the same for the audio, again doing the "Try restarting this link" after completion of the download. Both files are listed as being 100% downloaded, yet JD2 fails.

Moin, ich wollte mir eine Playlist die 172 Videos umfasst runterladen.
Leider lädt er nur die ersten 79 Videos. Ich habe es mit dem jDownloader und der Beta von jDownloader 2 probiert.
Wenn man die Playlist aufruft, wäre das der Abschnitt wo man auf "Weitere laden" klicken müsste.
