wasting resumeable downloads
I was running a few downloads, each with mirrors using Firedrive, which is resumeable, and Zippyshare, which is not.
I had to shut down JD for a while and when I restarted was annoyed to see that in one package, which had 17 MB already from Firedrive, JD threw that away and started the Zippyshare mirror from zero. Meanwhile in another package the former Zippyshare download was not restarted but the Firedrive mirror was used. Surely JD should resume incomplete downloads as the first priority when starting, and schedule downloads so as not to waste data already downloaded? log : 27.06.14 11.45.37to27.06.14 11.45.49 jdlog://4509703173041/ I'm not asking for an explanation why JD did this, I can see that, but I think it can be smarter. In the meantime I'll manually (re)start downloads when resuming rather than trust JD. |
