Default chan.sankakucomplex.com - Slow link grabbing

1) Grabbing links from this website is very slow which it wasn't before. Takes several seconds to get one link grabbed and if you want to get many images it takes a long time. Can this be fixed to be faster?

Example links:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

2) Can it be implemented to download from tags/artists? Right now that doesn't work.

Example:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Hi,

1. No.
If you have a lot of URLs, you could globally disable the linkcheck in order to add them superfast:
Settings --> Advanced Settings --> Search for "LinkCollector do link check" --> Disable & restart JD.

2. No.

Thanks for the feedback. About the search url not being supported on sankaku: JD works perfectly fine with R34 and that side uses a very similar layout and url system as sankaku as far as I can tell. What is the problem/difference here?

Maybe it was implemented "by mistake" and you're lucky or I failed to understand the "tags" system.

Either way if you research older requests in our forums you will see that grabbing "search" URLs will usually get declined.
Adding such is typically used by users to create so called "site rips" which we do not support.
--> Adding such URLs will usually result in a long crawl process which leads to numerous http requests being done on the target website.

Will disabling LinkCollector make the process less accurate? Will everything still be downloaded or jumped over because it's faster?

linkcheck is requird for filename/filesize check, means that without linkcheck you might see dummy names and/or estimated/no filesize before the actual download starts.

No idea what exactly you mean.
Without checking links, you cannot see their availability status until the download starts* but the process of just adding them will be much faster as JD won't check them.
* means, if a part is offline, you won't see that until JD tries to download it.

Alright, that's what I was wondering. Thanks for clarifying.
