Default Vimeo custom referer

Hi,

I have a site with Vimeo iframes. Vimeo checks the referer for a specific domain-name. The video won't play if it is another domain name or no referer (in case of just pasting the link in the browser bar).

I've tested manually adding the correct referer using Burp and that works. I did find some information of being able to set a custom referer in the Vimeo plugin, but I cannot find the option in the plugin configuration. For instance keep2share does have a custom referer option.

Am I missing something?

Simply Copy/Paste the Website where the video is embedded and JDownloader should be able to parse it. Can you please provide example links (the website embedding the video)?

Thanks for your quick answer.

To be clear when I said "I have a site", I should have said "I have a subscription to a site which uses Vimeo hosting". I will IM you an URL if that is ok with you?

Jdownloader doesn't automatically process the link, it get's an http error. I'm quite sure it is because it doesn't send the required referer. If I open up the iframe in a separate tab in Chrome I get "Sorry. Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here.", but when I use the Refer Control Chrome plugin and manually set the referer it works in that same tab.

Thanks, I got the PM. I will respond as soon as possible.
JDownloader is unable to auto crawl the embedded video because of the required login.

Wait for next plugin update, then attach the ref hex encoded
for example
player.vimeo.com/video/ID?autoplay=0&forced_referer=687474703A2F2F6A646F776E6C6F616465722E6F7267

Also with next update JDownloader will ask for referer. You can disable this in Settings-Plugins-search for vimeo

I have the same problem. I have extracted hundreds of vimeo links from a websites buton adding them to jdownloader the pop up window asks for referrer for each link individually. Is there any way to add the referrer to all the links once?
I did not understand this part
