Default Max chunks per download?

Hello, I have a simply debrid multi file hoster.

I noticed that when I download one big link jdownloader downloads very slowly but when I download multiple links it downloads like 2mb/s with each file...

How do I fix this? I see a chunks per download setting and Im not sure what that means...

Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Chunks = you can download a file with multiple connectins.
This may improve the speed.
Other than that, speed problems are no JD problems - please contact your (multi)host.

Could downloading with more than 1 chuck per download cause possible data corruption? IDM is known to be possible to corrupt files if they are running with multiple chunks. I don't know if there are any reported case in JD 2

This usually depends on the server - in some cases, YES.
The JDownloader download system has no known bugs in the chunk system so if you get corrupted data because of chunks, contact the admin of the site you downloaded the file or download it again with only 1 chunk.

sorry I want to take this chance to ask a question - does most browsers like chrome or firefox download with 1 chunk or more? I know this is not about JD 2 but I hope you can comment unofficially

Most browsers (without any extension) download with only 1 chunk.
