Default How to control zip joining function?

Hello

Which JD setting is responsible to joining zip or rar parts?

I would like to disable this option but can't figure out how.
1. Because joined files get corrupted while original parts unzip with 7z flawlesly.
2. This function exhausts easily HDD free space when there is known 10 Gb free for next dl but previous dl unexpectedly doubles it's size, when finished.

Presently zips of any format doesn't seem a reliable media enough, to trust any unzipping automation.

Thanks!

Hey Robert22,

you can avoid file joining by disabling the HJSplit Addon.

Yes, but in the settings menu where are these named add-ons, there is no choice of enable/disable. The question is still how? :-)

Deactivate (uncheck) the jD Unrar plugin-in in Settings -> Plugins & Add-ons -> Extensions.
