The PROBLEMS with JD2 Beta are ...

(a) the word "Beta" scares off a lot of folks
(b) No link for it on the main JD download page (only JD orig.). This is VERY confusing. This can mean the JD team are not too confident about their product.
(c) JD2 has a bunch of bugs (I assume that's why the "Beta")
(d) It takes forever to install ... Many antivirus programs try to block it (I had huge issues with Microsoft Security Essentials vs. JD2 installation)
(e) When it does finally install -- which seems to take forever -- you find none of your data and settings imported from JD. So GONE are all your Downloads (list) ... your Premium hosts (have to enter login info all over again for each). And TOS for each Host has to to be re-signed.
(f) etc.

In the U.S., we have an old expression: "What a way to run a raildoad". Daffy Duck used it in one of the Looney Tunes cartoons ... and that's what we have with the JD team .. a bunch of LOONEY cartoons!

Hello experts
When I try to download from youtube, I got this message on the screen asking for " Username(BasicAuth) " and then " Password(BasicAuth) ", so I've tried every username i've ever made in my life, and no one worked for me. I was thinking it was asking for my youtube account details (Username & password) but it wasn't.
I might add that this problem is still annoying me even if i logout my youtube account, and it is coming only with youtube urls !!

In the "[In progress] Youtube Issue Thread!", one of my in-line posts -- somewhere on pg. 17 -- was deleted by mods.
I assume this was due to the controversial nature of that post's contents.

It was not "spam" but was critical of JD developers.

It is still there, developers can see it as well as moderators. I don't really know how the spam protection works. I will let psp to decide to approve your post or not. It contains concerns for JD2, not about youtube.
