Default auto delete download history

I have seen that in cfg\archives are stored all file information of all my ever downloaded files. Where can I set an automatic deletion so that all download information is deleted from JDownloader after deletion from the download queue?

I find it problematic that this data seems to accumulate in the default settings.

@yalador: Currently this information is not stored within the downloadListXXX.zip files but external and therefore not that easy to handle/cleanup. Once the linked ticket is solved, those files will be no more.
You can safely clear this folder when your download list is empty or all finished.

It only holds information about customized/extracted archives.

It's not intended behaviour but a cleanup is not that easy without risking losing of customized archive information. That's why the saving of this information needs to be rewritten/changed for easier handling and auto cleanup

@yalador
If you do not want to wait you can already automate this using an EventScripter script.

What means customized?

Otherwise, if they were all extracted, then I don't see what would be lost by emptying the directory.

means enable/disable extraction, or custom extract-to folder

Correct, but that cleanup does not yet exist and is little more complex. But I will try to find time for this soon

I was thinking of running a script from time to time to empty the directory. Since I rarely change archives, that's probably fine.

@yelador: that could be automated via Eventscripter, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525
ask in that thread/mgpai for help, I'm sure he will be able to create a script in no time
