Default keep2share Premium Problem

I've been having an issue with keep2share for the last two days. JDownloader 2 is reporting in the status that "You've tried logging in too many times!". Though logging into the website is perfectly fine.

Checking the accountCheck_keep2share.cc.log.0 log I see;
Quote:
------------------------Thread: 838:accountCheck:keep2share.cc-----------------------
--ID:838TS:1425050194537-2/27/15 10:16:34 AM - [jd.controlling.AccountController(updateAccountInfo)] -> Account xxxx@xxx.com->keep2share.cc traffic limit reached!
Looking an my profile online it says I have 19 GB for Available traffic.

27.02.15 09.49.52to27.02.15 10.10.58 jdlog://6870096763241/

Preformed an update to JDownloader2 this morning.

I asked raztoki to check this and maybe also contact the k2s support as this is probably an issue on their side.

Thanks.

I reached out to support. I'll let you know what they say when they respond.

Don't know if this helps, but their response was:
Quote:
And setup it not more 2 stream and and not login every download and you need just reload page (f5) to update a links
This will increase your download speed and let you finish downloads which were interrupted.

This is what JD should already do but anyways - set max.connections per file to 1 or 2 and check if you still have these issues.

Thanks but the issue is in the Account Manager. So I don't know if reducing the max. connections comes in play with the Account Manger reporting "You've tried logging in too many times!"

keep2share API returns that you logged in too many times, I have no idea why that happened as its not mentioned in the log and the log only contains that response as the first request. If there was history going back more it would have told the full story.

There seems to be some other bug with non API (seems you disabled API mode), it has direct link and browser seems to try and open download file. I will need to confirm, and look into the latter issue.

Thanks for looking into this raztoki. I initially turned the APIs off to see if that resolved the issue; which it didn't.

What's interesting today the Account Manager reports incorrect username/password; even though the correct ones are entered. After re-inputting the password the "You've tried logging in too many times!" error returns.

@dead__man

I can only go from what there API returns, login too many times implies that you've logged in too many times with incorrect login criteria. This could be false positive on there side or maybe bug on our side (the JSON encoder) but I doubt its the latter as the same one is used for jd internal APIs.

web download probably would work if you turned off direct download mode.

Thanks raztoki. As of the last update today Account Manager is still reporting that I'm logged in multiple times.

So it seems that each API login request is counted as login attempt (result of attempt can be failed or succeeded).
Maybe try again with API disabled, where login will only be done when cookies are no longer valid.

Hi!

I'm having the same issue as dead__man. If I disable the API I have to enter a captcha for every file which renders my premium account essentially useless.

I also reached out to their support (suggesting that it might be an issue with their API) but their answer was useless:
Quote:
Please setup it not more 2 stream and and not login every download and you need just reload page (f5) to update a links
This will increase your download speed and let you finish downloads which were interrupted.
And do not use browser and download software together

1 I recommend to login on all domains k2s (keep2share.cc, k2s.cc, keep2s.cc) it will help you to not login every time
(We will fix this soon)
You should press button "Remember me next time" on all of them, and you shouldn't have any logging off problems.
2 Check you browser settings
Maybe cookie enabled to not save password
3 Disable another download software like Utorrent

I asked my contact about these issues I've yet to get a response. Sorry about the lack of feedback, as I don't have any.

Sorry for the late response, sometime late last week one of the updates seem to have corrected the issue, or K2S fixed something.

I have been fine ever since (knock on wood).

Thanks for you assistance looking into this.

I did change some minor stuff in cloudflare support it should mean direct downloads in web method would work, as it wouldn't open content

that said, I did receive response back from my contact today, he is asking his developers. progress !

I don't know if this is related, but when I saw the response in the thread about multiple domains for k2s, I thought it might be my issue.

I just signed up for k2s Premium, but JD is reporting the account [still] expired. The account manager shows "keep2share.cc" as the Hoster, but when I log into k2s in my browser, the domain is "keep2s.cc". Does JD try all domains? I can't change anything in to change the domain, can I? Everything is from a pulldown menu.

Here is my log ID: 14.03.15 13.59.07to15.03.15 16.56.31 jdlog://0866496763241/

I REALLY hope this does not count as a double post, but I started reading ALL of the K2S bug reports. One of them suggested removing an account (although I think it said plugin) from Account Manager and adding it back in. I did this and JD confirmed my Premium account!

This might be an overlooked bug in JD, but it can certainly hit those of use that have been using JD for years and years.

logs for download show not once was an account used, all I could see in the log was guest download method used (free non account)

I'd say you encounter error and your account was temp disabled, or you account usage rule which prevented it from been used, deleting the account and adding it back again would 'fix' both of these scenarios.

log for account checking shows the reason

->keep2share.cc is expired!
->keep2share.cc is expired!

bit hard to tell since we don't log account checking by default, but either there API gave wrong information or you just renewed your account and API was out of sync.

I'm still having the same issue with keep2share.cc. I tried deleting and rlaoding the account; setting the simultaneous downloads to 1, etc. Nothing seems to work. I am able to download without JD by clicking on the links.

I'm currently using the JD Beta 2.

Any solutions to this?

I don't know if you did something .. but it works now. This was a newly provisioned account and the message I was getting had to do with too many login attempts. But no worries. All seems to be good now. Thank you for checking.

We didn't do anything, there is a bug on k2s backend and reports incorrectly (no traffic left/login too many times etc). They are aware of the issues (see above), though they can't seem to identify/fix the underlying issue.

Default keep2share problem when changing passwords

Keep2share forced me to change my passwords. After doing so in JDownloader 2, I continually get a message that says "You have tried logging in too many times!" It says temporarily disabled for 30 minutes and begins a countdown. At the end of the 30 minutes it says temporarily disabled for another 30 minutes. This goes on forever.:outch:

I can download from Keep2share using my Firefox browser, so the account is not the problem.

This has been going on for almost a whole day now.

Can you please suggest a solution for this problem. All my other cloud services are working properly.

Thank you.

I have 2 keep2share accounts. I had to reset both of them. I changed both passwords in the JDownloader2 Account Manager. It did not help.

I then deleted both accounts from JDownloader2 and set up both accounts again. None of these things helped.

Here is what JDownloader 2 gave me for a Log: 19.03.15 22.32.58to20.03.15 10.01.36 jdlog://2357617486241/

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,

racast53

Here is a log covering a longer timeframe:

19.03.15 22.32.58to18.03.15 22.12.55 jdlog://6757617486241/

Thank you again!

Here is a screencapture of the problem in JDownloader2.

Thank you.

@racast53
all that I can recommend is that you disable API and use WEB method
settings > plugins > keep2share > use api (unselect).
