you can restore the backup via drag/drop or add container
of the .backup files in your cfg folder in JDownloader. You can find/open it via about dialog

In case normal update doesn't work anymore, please do the following:
1.) Close JD 2.) Delete JDownloader.jar and Core.jar files 3.) Delete tmp, update and logs folder 4.) Download mega.nz/file/bAlHTKZK#S6ygKPqJudw0CP8fhxL2_gAGKrSMABHjZfUzEem1P54 and place into your JDownloader folder 5.) Start JD In case you've lost your lists, don't worry. There are .backup files in your JDownloader/cfg folder that you can easily import via Drag/Drop or AddContainer action. Those files are: JDownloader/cfg/downloadListXXX.zip.backup (contains the download list) JDownloader/cfg/linkcollectorXXX.zip.backup (contains the linkgrabber list) see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...nkgrabber-list

If your dowload list and linkcollector are empty drag and drop these (look up for the most recent ones) on JD interface to get the links back : JDownloader/cfg/downloadListXXX.zip.backup (contains the download list) JDownloader/cfg/linkcollectorXXX.zip.backup (contains the linkgrabber list) Last edited by voreball; 22.05.2020 at 18:13. |

Thanks for the feedback! and sorry for the inconvenience. Issue has been caused by incompatibility to older Java 1.6 and 1.7 versions

I can't say how it works on Windows but on Mac OS you need to right-click JDownloader.app, open the folder hierarchy and find the elements inside the app package. Be aware of the exact location of them before overwriting anything...

Out of curiosity, when was the last update? I'm at core #42483 and updater #921, after doing the fix a few times, it seems I don't ever get updates.

Thanks, but no other updates have been released in the past days? Plugins and such?
#25
correct, there have been no updates, because a plugin has called something within a core component (thats not published) and this has blocked plugin updates. You will need to wait for the next core update for everything to clear.
