I can only think I've fallen foul of the "Too Many Requests" as reported by others, I've not downloaded hundreds of files but did leave JD running in the background and found it had a few weird links on it from video's on news pages that linked back to youtube.

What's the easiest way to change my IP (my ISP provides a static IP as standard)

Failing that how long will I have to wait before downloads are allowed again.

If you have a static IP you can only use proxies or a VPN.

Keep in mind that if Google recognizes e.g. VPN usage, you will probably get even tighter limits!

Regarding the "Confirm your age" error:
Please keep in mind that while you are maybe logged-in via browser, JD is not necessarily logged-in and thus is not allowed to watch 18+ videos

You need to add your youtube/google account to JDownloader to be able to download such videos.

I can't even login to YouTube via JD2 at the moment

Seems like my IP got restricted somehow. Running through a SOCKS proxy through a server on AWS, JD is able to crawl links again.

Guess I just have to wait it out for a bit. Anyone know how long it takes for YouTube to clear such a restriction?

cant login on youtube with jdownloader too, so i don't know if the videos are only visible for logged in users or if there are other problems. Anyway, I can watch all videos in my browser.

What is happening with jdownloader that is not possible to download videos from youtube. Suddenly I can no longer download videos from that website. Normally it can.
It is very important for me to backup videos from some YouTube channels, and I have been trying to download them through jdownloader but today it is no longer possible

Needless to say, the videos I try to download are all online. I have tried downloading videos from several channels, but the error indicated is the same. Jdownloader says they are offline, but that is false. The videos are online.

I noticed some videos having 152kbit Opus audio stream, but JDownloader doesn't seem to have the option to automatically mux it together with the best video stream available.

I can only choose best video stream + 128kbit audio stream of either Opus or AAC (in which case will result in WebM for the former, and MP4 for the latter).

Wasn't it used to be an option with FFMPEG? Or did I miss something in my installation?

When going to "Add additional variants" menu, and sort all variants by audio bitrate, I can only see that single audio stream alone being 152kbit.
