But in this site there are no captchas, instead I just stopped using those link sites with captchas, because with jdownloader I have not been able to make them work for months if not years.

@Cozmo: The captcha comes from Cloudflare and only if Cloudflare kicks in

Hello, now it is impossible to capture any link with jdownloader, even after passing cloudfire and copying the embed links. But is there really no way to bypass this cloudfire? If all sites adopt it, jdownloader will become unusable.

You're doing it wrong - this is not how you "bypass" Cloudflare.
The only way to "bypass" Cloudflare and Download from streamtape using JD is this way.

You won't find any solutions at all on the Internet and if you do, these are mostly paid solutions

They won't.
Also, a lot of filehosters also provide premium download functionality.
By using Cloudflare the wrong way, they'd also prohibit their premikum users from using JD

By bypass I just meant to make it check, however this method is useful for those sites where a download is not possible, but for normal links it is too intricate, jdownloader is made to speed up the download process, not to slow it down. Moreover, I use safari, like many others and it is one thing to use other browsers in exceptional cases, such as for captchas, which in any case do not work via browser even with chrome and firefox, but to do what is indicated in the link you should also use them to navigate .

Yes you need to get that extension, open the stream and start playing to be able to download it.

Sorry, there won't be any other way in the near future.
If you find a tool that can handle Cloudflare properly, let me know

@Cozmo: at the moment there are no solutions/known bypasses for JDownloader+Cloudflare. You might wanna try different IP/via VPN/Proxy that may not trigger Cloudflare but there are no guaranteed ways to work. Once safari supports the required set of web-extension apis, we will look into extension support as well but also depends if/how the extension can be placed into app store of safari.

I tried this way and nothing changes, I don't know if the problem it still depends on cloudfire, but it's a different thing: the links are detected by jdownloader, but they are not the working ones, the name consists of random letters and size and availability are unknown and this also by copying the link via firefox download helper extension.

Now it works again, even with normal links.

Your didn't do it the way it is described in our instructions!
If you do it right, you'll get a completely different URL (way longer than your initial URL) which ends with ".mp4?stream=1".

The rest:
See Jiaz' post.

I followed the correct procedure, step by step, I even tried more than once, but there was no way to get the correct links.

I still don't think so.
Here are the instructions again, more detailed, for streamtape:
1. Install the browser addon "Video DownloadHelper".
If it is not available for your browser, get a supported browser.
2. Get- and open any streamtape URL in the following format:
streamtape.com/v/bla
3. Start the video stream in your browser.
4. Go to the top right corner of your browser and click on the "Video DownloadHelper" icon --> Choose the icon with the biggest filesize -> Clicko n the 3 dots to the right -> Copy URL
Screenshot:

5. Add this URL to JD.
It will be a format similar to this:
Code:
bla.tapecontent.net/bla/bla/bla/filename.mp4?stream=1
If our current instructions in our knowledgebase are misleading, please let me know.

Yes, I did it in this way, except I didn't choose the file size because there was only one.
Currently it works normally, so I can't try again, maybe that day the site had some problems, because it was the only time that jd didn't detect even the "embed" links.
