@rock1984
your system seems to have many issues
I would go to say your antivirus / firewall software is the cause of 99% of your problems
sockets are been closed/reset and its causes failures in page loading or downloads from starting.

Whitelist java/JDownloader in your AV software.

If you do not know how or if that does not help, temporarily uninstall your AV software and check if your issues disappear.

Make sure to exclude Java and JDownloader in your Firewall/AV.
What exactly do you mean by *I only have AnVir* ?

Nothing helps, it seems to me that this problem is on your side, since all other file sharing services are identified by me normally, only depfile.com not identified

Have you tried to download in your browser? depfile download links are not working for me either in JD and my browser. Can't connect to their server. So if it's the same thing that it doesn't appear to be a JD problem. Either depfile's servers aren't working or we're being blocked by someone from reaching them.

Trying to download via TORBrowser doesn't work either, so I'm leaning toward a depfile problem.

Can any one ping or traceroute to 185.153.196.46 (one of their file servers that's not connecting)

I guess kdean is right!
The problem might be with the depfile servers!
I can't download from the ip 185.153.196.46 on JDownloader and browser.

Seems blocked. =S

Default I also have downloads stuck

following this post. I am a premium member, and downloads are getting hung up. I contacted their support who said 2 days ago that they are "going to fix" I get a timeout to the server. At times, I might get a download or 2, but then nothing. I am definitely not tech savvy, and googled the problem and got directed to your forum. Any help would be appreciated.

It's nothing we can fix. They have to fix their servers.
Logs and tests from kdean and nandorok show that this is a server issue

I have the same problem with depfile for the past couple of days. It's a problem with their servers timing out their connections. Not a jdownloader issue.

I haven't gotten a response from them at all, I put a ticket in 2 days ago. It looks to me like it's anything they have in the 185.153.196.0/24 subnet, which is at least 2 or 3 IPs. Anyway, I'm glad to hear someone has heard back from them.

Sorry for the bad news (itis indeed, for me also, since quite some files I absolutely know no other place to get them are hosted there), but I fear this is going to be a Long-term, if not even a permanent issue, cause:

The whole IP range 185.153.196.0/22 is listed on the Spamhaus DROP list (advice notto route or peer These IPs for about any Server admin worldwide) as dirty/rogue Network and therefore inexistant with any major ISP - the issue gets even worse since also the range 149.14.58.0/24 (not listed itself, but identified as routing/pointing to the 185-range listed) is silenced, which affects from mpov about 85% of all files hosted on depfile.com - for further information see Spamhaus article SBL322603 and RM-INJINERING

At the moment I have no idea if it would be possible at all for them to retrieve the files themselves to put them on another server :'''((( but hope dies last

UPDATE: Just checked back and it seems they somehow managed to get the IP range of that list)) Which means there is a good chance now that those IPs will be routed again within the next days (Major ISPs are often pretty conservative about removals from that list and therefore it often takes some days till changes are reflected in the net infrastructure again :/)

BTW, I can very much suggest using the free 7-day Trial of alldebrid.com for download purposes with depfile.com (and about 80 other filehosters) - works really quick and flawless - and if you go pay for it, it's just 3€ per month - really unrivaled cheap for premium access to all major file-Hosters (I hope providing this tip is not against any "advertising rules", but I really think this info is worthwhile and worth a look!If you don't think so, feel free to edit and remove this part)

FURTHER UPDATE: IP range is routed again, but as it turned out, the domain owners DNS servers are down, which could mean that the whole Enterprise operating this range went out of business for some reason - guess depfile will have to get the files to another server farm if possible, though I'm afraid that this won't happen :'''(

Another site got this is reply from Depfile:

“We are experiencing problems with the availability of file servers on the following ranges: ip 149.14.xxx.xxx and 185.153.xxx.xxx This is due to the fact that the data center in which the server is located has lost contact with the outside world due to a natural disaster – an optical cable is disconnected at a long distance and at several points. Part of the infrastructure is underground, but part of the optical cable was overhead because of the disaster the aboveground infrastructure – an optical Internet cable – was damaged. The company announced the terms of restoration of 3-5 working days but everything was delayed for longer. At the moment, the approximate recovery date is April 30.”

So not the same story at all, but still seems to indicate a fix is coming.

kdean, I suppose you have a premium account with either a multihoster or depfile themselves... Since you obviously didn't notice thatthe above mentioned 2 IP-ranges are still dead! What has taken place is that quite some files have been rerouted over some 93.xxx... IP address, that's why some files have bevome accessible again, but overall still about 50% of their files are unavailable - but if they continue the rerouting of the files with this speed I would approximate that everything should be accessible again within the next 2 weeks.

No, I don't have premium depfile. All I know is previous unworking links started working. Didn't pay attention to the IPs since everything seems to be working again for me.

I'm able to traceroute to 185.153.196.46 and 185.153.196.23 again albeit via almost 30 hops which seems like a lot, but it may have been that way before. It's possible that some of your locations haven't updated their routing to connect through again.
