Default Different questions

Hello

This topic is for some questions about useful things i have not seen in the beta.

1) How we can desactivate tooltips.
2) Is it possible to have general "progress" instead of files "progress" on the columns.
3) Is it possible JD toggle directly to the download window when we add the files.

I have seen a bug too => "don't show this again" doesn't work, the popups always reappear.

Thanks for your support

1.) what tooltips do you mean? screenshot?
2.) the filepackage also has a progress?! or what do you mean?
3.) add a packagizer rule to *autostart* or *autoadd* specific added downloads
3.1.) or enable autoadd in linkgrabber (settings on the right)

1.
Most of the tooltips are disablable now (See advanced config)

2.

3.
Do you mean that JDownloader Should switch to the DOwnloadList after clicking "Start Downloads" or "Add to Download List" in the Linkgrabber?

those are mouse overs, and most likely shouldn't be removed. They only show up after a second or more, if you press escape they go away. You need them for things like hoster icons etc.

MouseOvers(Tooltips) are now disablable globally (advanced config)

Moreover, there is a advanced config Option Linkgrabber.AutoSwitchToDownloadTableOnConfirmDefaultEnabled that should do the job for your request no. 3

you had two forms of tips right, balloon window and the traditional smaller mouse overs.

I have not seen it, and today for me the window of "advanced settings" is blank, so i cant search

Edit:

JD has restarted with its own initiative* and now its ok the settings has reappeared and i found it, thanks.
*Occasionally JD restarts without my intervention, i wonder if this is normal ?

Also i have several Flickr accounts with several logins data and i have to use multiple instances (not together)
of this beta cause we can not change the pass in the plugin configuration. Maybe thats why i have some bugs like that
Dont know with this plugin if its possible in the future to implement this fonction in this version...

GraphicalUserInterfaceSetting.fontscalefactor
But be cautious - if your value is too high (depends of screen resolution I think) - jD may be unreadable and you'll have to manually correct \cfg\org.jdownloader.settings.GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.json file with lower value.

I agree of course it depends of screen resolution. With the beta this fonction is more sensitive. For me 105 is enough while the current version i put more for the same result. It depends also to the skins too but i have the same for all versions

ad 6)
a) Above Advanced Settings there are setting for jD in Tray ("Tray Icon" - thanks coalado for screenshot!) -the option: "Bring Mainframe to top if new Links were grabbed" - set it to "Never" when you don't want jD to go upfront when it's minimized to the tray
b) Advanced Settings:
GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.linkgrabberframetotoponnewlinksenabled - switch if off

ad 7) I don't know what you exactly mean ...
You can set waittime for connection lost:
AdvancedSettings: GeneralSettings.waittimeonconnectionloss
to short time may lead to ban from server (too many reconnections on too short time)

For the 6) it's good thanks!

For the 7) Sometimes some pics in galleries are in waiting (i have not seen why sorry) but i suppose that is the server who is temporarily unavailable. If you think i could be banned from the server if i change this value of course i will not change it!

Thanks all for your support

8) I do not understand what you mean by "galleries".

a) There is already a total size for the package.
b) Remaining and downloaded are available by clicking on the "Sun" symbol at the far right side of the column tab bar
c) These also apply to the individual links when the Package is open (click on the + in a box at the far left).
d) The Progress column shows % completion.

First Flickr.com plugin is out of date since the last update (it work with a version not updated)

I mean the "images" galleries
a) I have not seen where ? just i see in the download window it appears when the download is finished.

8) 8a - Is it possible as column in the download window to have the total size of the galleries, not only when a gal is finished but also at the beginning (or somewhere if it's not possible as column). 8b - and the total of the images already downloaded during the download.

Explanation with screenshot

please post plugin errors to the respective plugin reporting sections 'hoster' or 'decrypter

8a) already done. As you can see it hasn't linkchecked the file in order to get the filesize until the download starts. Once it has that info 8a) already adds up data and displays correct figure.

8b) once could most likely come back. Some others have already asked for its presence to be reintroduced. The connection column is not really the best place to show file stats on contents, right alignment in the package is the best place for this.

I have no answer about this problem for the moment that's why i say it here
Plugin out of date : http://board.jdownloader.org/showthr...954#post205954

8a) I do not really understand your answer. I agree we can see the total size before the download in the link collector but when we add the gallery in the download list this info disappears to reappear only at the end of the download, during the download we can't see it.

8b) I'm not asking that this info is in the connection column but in a similar column entitled for example "files progress" or something like that.

can you please provide example links for 8a.) because when sizes are shown in linkgrabber, they also should be visible in downloadlist

about 8b.) you want the numbers of todo/finished/all links? right?

8a) Sorry i made a mistake, the total size (or total bytes) don't appears in the collector infact, we can see only the total files. So it's not possible we can have the total size in the download list before the download is finished i suppose ?

8b) Don't understand "todo" sorry, i would like this:

Or maybe we can have 1->106/106 in "Active Task" it's the same...

There is no need for a new column, turn on finished date column. Not sure if it has the total stats (on the package) maybe they could do that also when they bring it back for that column. You can also use it to sort if you choose.

On the columns at this time during the download with images files we have almost nothing like information.
No total progress column, no files indication except total files, and size & bytes loaded its the same.

I'd have to disagree with your screen shot, one is a estimated filesize, which does get updated at the point of download, say if the plugin gets a rounded value and we update from the httpd header info. The other is total download of bytes download in the form of progress. Once progress is 100% it should be identical of size.

Sorry I found it really hard to follow your paragraph of text. The image I could follow.

Stats within the package row might come back as indicated above. right aligned within there respective column like in previous versions.

First sorry for my bad English as always...

I understand perfectly why you disagree what i call "same" informations, in this case i meant "similar" if you prefer. It's different with images plugins than another kind of plugins. Here on this screenshot you can see the total size of the rars in download, it's not the case with images galleries, this is what i try to explain. It's the same it's different for the progress column also.

Spoiler:

I'll wait for the column of the Total Progress it's not so important... Thanks for your time and your answer

what other column? The cause for this is that normal links have an estimated size given by page. your images from gallerie do not have this. so jd only knows the filesize during the actual download.

Ok i understand now, it will never be possible to have an estimation of the total bytes in advance with images galleries, we can have only the total files. I'll wait for JD3 PRE-BETA to see if we can have some improvement in this technology, thank you and have nice weekend all.
