But "Out of date" is not Fileserve problem. That's why I posted. Regarding the "landing Unknown error", went to the log while for the other problem, which already report with fileserve, so here I only had that error to "solve".

Your log doesn't show out of date.
Try download as premium with browser, if you get landing error then you are banned.

@krysaint

I read your original post and your log which indicated on two instances (4 times in the log) 612 landing errors, hence my given answer and yes it is directly a fileserver error hence why I moved it to the correct thread. What exact is the point of questioning my motive when its correct/justified?

Because I did not read it before posting the new log, I was posting before it appeared, because as said before raztoki only demonstrated the error 612. After posting I went to sleep. Recently I read everything, and unban me from fileserve. I have no problem with jdownloader, I appreciate the help of all those who helped me. For those who pass the same thing to me, send a pm for fileserve with the title of the error and under the Reason of "Advertising", saying the problem and the IP in question and solved my problem. Sorry for the problems caused.

Sorry, I did not question your decision, just that I thought I might not explain it since I use google translator to write in English as well as possible, so I wrote again. You were absolutely right, after the ip unban me, I had no problems with jdownloader. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your help.

After having the fileserve error 612 for a couple of days in Jdownloader & browser downloads, its been working perfectly for the past 48hrs or so, just hope it continues. I may have jumped the gun by going premium with filesonic while fileserve was down. ah well at least it works!

So I've been using jdownloader for like 6 months. Even with the bad services of fileserve.com, for me its the fastest website. I prefer having more speed than less bugs. Anyway, recently I got errors like unknow landing error. Usually, I just wait a couple of hours or days and it's solved. Now I get "it seems that fileserve blocked your account etc." Well, I read the thread, I didn't share my account, got hacked or what ever. Any explaination? :/

*EDIT:
I heard "ricky doesn't like ppl who download alot"...
That could be the reason.
Since now, thats why I stay with fileserve, I can get up to 20+mb/s for 4 parallels files (so 5mb/s for each) unlike 1mb/s or less for filesonic and wupload.

Default Fileserve premium "connection lost" message

Hello,
I just purchased a FS account a few days ago. before that I had a RS account with no problems at all.
I set it up to max of 3 max downloads and 5 connections max, and I still get the same messages. I have a 12mbit connection.

BTW- I haven't found the place to set the wait before reconnecting option to less than 5 minutes.
Again, with rapidshare I used to set up to 8 downloads and 12 connections each with no disconnecting problems.
Help please?

@Silky

If you can download the files with your browser, something is blocking jD. I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max. Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

Something is wrong again with FServe Premium.
JDownloader says "Hoster problem?" at all FS link.

EDIT:
"Server maintenance
This file is currently under maintenance. Please check back in 1 hour to download."

JD keeps dropping the connections for fileserve on the last 50mb or so of a file.

I can be going at 30MB\s for the entire file then it just drops to 1\10 connections and starts giving me 100KB\s speeds.

IDM not having this problem

Also stopping the connection then restarting the download fixes it..for about 5 seconds then it drops down again.

This might be explained by the lack of dynamic chunking functionality of jD or a virus that's keeping the file hostage.

I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max. Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

The latter recommendation can be accompanied by increasing the number of simultaneous downloads if you would like to download a lot. Be careful for Ricky if you download too much because he bans customers who do that.

My account was renewed more than a week ago and it doesn't work in my browser anymore. It says " could not complete download ". Before I had landing error but It was solved the next day but this problem has been for 1 week.
Usually, when I get @could not complete download@ on my browser, it says @unknow landing error@ on JD but now it says that I got my account blocked.

I believe the error handling in JD has been improved.
If you can not download with browser, report to Fileserve.

I've already proved i'm a legitimate uploader so i won't get banned.

Anyway, my firewall\av software is not blocking it.

This does not only happen on my home connection, it also happens on my rdp.

And why would reducing the amount of connections make my speed faster?

When you get unknown landing errors, that means your IP number has been banned. When you get it to work again after that error, that means you have a new dynamic ip number from your ISP. You have been given a new lease on downloading life, and what do you do??? Download again naturally! Then that number gets banned. The list grows until your modems ip pool is thoughly corrupted! Ha! Your friend down the street just got banned for no reason of his own! So you might get it fixed by compaining to fileserve...it works! Then the next day you get one of your little dirty secrets back....a banned ip! Good going Fileserve! Hope it all works out for you....FS Anonymous....sane for almost 2 weeks! My name is cavelord, and I'm an FS junkie until they took it away

Thank you 4 information. That explain a lot. Maybe the modem is toughly corrupted. I heard the server went down when I wasn't there.
So now fileserve has to "unblock" or "unban" my account to make my download works again?
Would it work better if I just make a new account?

The public IP address might have been blocked by FSe.

That's because jD doesn't support dynamic chunking. It's better to increase the number of simultaneous downloads.

I have a static IP at work, and that one is banned. The One at home was banned, and now I got a new dynamic IP number and it works. I'm not sure what kind of "protection" implementation FSe is doing. It could be multiple IP download banning, too much bandwidth use (seems contradictory to the nature of the service), or just, they don't like you...but either way, I stopped my "unasked-for-paypal-automatic-payment" from my paypal account, and will be looking for another service. But...I have a feeling they are all going to adopt these same protections, and my day of clicking everything in site, and accessing my files from two different locations, will be over :( Seems like they sell us a lamborghini and then give us a dirt road to drive it on. I think I need to trademark the word: unlimited*.

er ...I don't think I have anything "banned" I simply have a paid up premium account that is not working in JD - tried to delete old fileserve premium acc and add new one but it just says invalid account - yet the paypal amount has been paid and gone from my bank account. It was perfectly ok before the November payment Anyone else having this problem. Fileserve never respond. Hopeless.

Did you already perform the following actions? :-

1) Test your account in your browser. If your password contains special characters, please change it.

2) Enable the option "Enable Premium globally" in the Premium menu. Also enable the account.

3) Remove your account, restart jD, and add the account again.

this is the log:
http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/61675
what should I do?
I'm totally newbie
Thanx a lot, bye.

Your post was almost perfect. I'm sure you did all your best. If your problems are all related to fileserve.com then you should have posted in another forum.

What about some example links?

Do you get the same message when you try to download a file in your browser?

hi i'm new to this forum and subject but i would like to share what happened to me:
-jdownloader program popped up a window and stated that my ip was blocked and that i should contact rickyfs -> link
- i followed the link, had to create an account and pm'ed rickyfs. (before that i also tried to download directly from my browser after logging in to my fileserve premium account -> not possible!
- rickyfs replied that he fixed it for 8 more days (!) and that i should use fileserve manager to download my files in the future instead of jdownloader! messages like this can also be found spread on the thread there. people there also complained that when they had a premium account why they would be forced by fileserve to use their buggy and harder-to-use fileserve manager instead of a download manager of their choice. fileserve never replied to them.

so what i assume is that they either want to boycott jdownloader in order to use their own manager (that obviousely no one with a clear mind really uses!) OR they have an internal problem with servers or what not and don't want you to use jdownloader because it enables you to download a lot of files simultaniousely thus with a lot of bandwith!

@remi
2) Enable the option "Enable Premium globally" in the Premium menu. Also enable the account.

EXACTLY WHERE CAN I CHANGE THOSE SETTINGS? looked for it but could not find it :-(

I think that's a proper analysis of Ricky's situation. Be careful because he might ban you forever. If you download a lot he can't buy a new Ferrari next year.

EDIT:
You should be able to find the "Enable Premium globally" option in the Premium menu of jD. You can enable an account by checking the "Enabled" column of the account.

Since the beginning of the month I have been blocked by fileserver because I download from my dedicated server and later I got my files from that server when I want and from wherever I want.

But they blocked me for that, with the known error message Unknown landing error.

I contacted them and they told me that they were looking the problem a week later.
One week later from that first message they told me that my account was fixed, but it wasnt fixed, the same unknown landing error.

I told them that and no message from them (another week later and the third without service since the beginning of the month).

I was send here from a message in jdownloader and I sent a message to RickyFS telling him that situation, and this was his answer:

"You're not an affiliate and you're using an RDP.

That could either mean:
-You take files and reupload them to a competitor
-You take files and let your friends download from this RDP

It can't mean anything else besides that."

What means RDP and what am I doing wrong? I download from my dedicated server at 100 mbits or more, and later I get it from that server to my home, so could anyone tell me why are they stealing my money?
Because three weeks since my last payment and I have been three weeks without service and counting.

Thanks
