incorrect message:
"Invalid Download Directory"
because other files correctly saves in the catalog
so it should be:
"Invalid Download File"

The problem occurs only in JDownloader 2.
There is no problem with saving files in Windows Explorer, Total Commander.

And? What has this to do with JDownloader. Nothing! If you try to use more memory than your system can provide, then of course your application/system will go out of memory. Please stop such nonsense reports!

but shows free memory in 4GB, but why the system warning that uses full psyhical RAM?
Where leaked 4 GB RAM?
75% 11,9 GB RAM = 100% 16 GB RAM ? No!
Why Java needs up to 24 GB of virtual memory ?!
C:\ 17000 MB (~ 17GB) + G:\ 1560 MB (warning, that is not enough RAM !!!)

Set Heap

Everything work.
why it is necessary to create a large virtual file pagefile.sys 24 GB ???

There is no sense installing more physical memory, 32 GB or 64 GB, because the more RAM the more I need to set up a virtual file system for "Pop-Up Window/s"<- Such information I have in event log.

while Xms specifies the initial memory allocation pool.

"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_102\bin\javaw.exe" -Xms??? -Xmx11G -XX:MaxHeapFreeRatio=100 -XX:MinHeapFreeRatio=20 -jar C:\Jdownloader2\JDownloader.jar

Wait for next Update. Will try out some workarounds.
This can happen when you open/close files too fast in windows

Jiaz - If Error: "Invalid Download Directory"
Run As... Administrator C:\JDownloader2\JDownloader.jar
Working Download !

Regular Run
"Invalid Download Directory" (but not always!)

Note - or vice versa, depending on what the required permissions "Administrator" if UAC enabled.

However, this does not cause problems for file managers Windows Explorer, Total Commander and others.

Task Manager and Process Explorer shows: 75-83% RAM (physical)

75-83% RAM = 100% RAM ???

Example:
If Java uses 9 GB (Peak) of physical RAM
It is recommended setting PAGEFILE (Virtual Memory):
Mix: 9GB
Max: 9GB
Why?

SYMPTOMS
When you run a large number of Windows-based programs, "Out Of Memory" error messages appear when you attempt to start new programs or try to use programs that are already running, even though you still have plenty of physical and pagefile memory available.
CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the desktop heap in the WIN32 subsystem is depleted.

RESOLUTION
Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
--------------------------------

I do not know how to set it ...

Simply assign less memory to JDownloader. It makes absolut no sense to use several GB of heap for JDownloader. You should change garbage collector instead and more aggressive memory managment in java (increases cpu usage)
Page File with 9GB...are you crazy?! If you use that much page file, then I would say goodbye to windows
My PageFile is 1GB. Simply don't try to use more memory than your system has

During a very long analysis (but only if a few hours), peak memory usage is high 9GB, and le later drops to 2-3GB!

Now I modified the parameters, maybe this helps. I will check...

"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_102\bin\javaw.exe" -Xincgc -Xms512M -Xmx10G -jar C:\Jdownloader2\JDownloader.jar

I tested the 4G - 8G size consumes more CPU and freezing GUI (slower reaction & cause a "black main window GUI")

JD2 easily supports 300 - 600K(MAX) links (very low use of CPU & RAM)

but a significant increase in RAM when downloading files or decrypt.
(16 parallel downloads for small files and links removed from the list after the download is complete) for a long time to download ... heap increases (only restart JD2 helps temporarily reduce heap)

many stuff happens when download happens. list handling is NOT optimized for that large lists -> will optimize it from time to time

So why I do not want to decrease less than 10 GB

Jiaz -
JD2 does not use the full RAM (it's obvious) but... Large consumption of RAM because in addition to applications that use RAM, another process that can not be seen in the Task Manager and Process Explorer - called "Mapped File"
I do not know why it is so high.

Immediately after the start JD2 and downloading files
"Mapped File" - grow and is very high, and OS reports that javaw.exe consumes the most of virtual memory.
I thought JD2 uses only RAM ???

If, for example. Javaw.exe consumes 5 GB RAM also virtual memory can grow up to
5 GB or more.
