Default Headless - prevent JD from waking up HDDs when it is in idle on DSM7

Hi all,
Isuccessfully installed JD on my new Synology Nas (DS920+) and it is working perfectly.
Since my HDs are constantly spinning, I did some search and found this procedure
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...kes-up-my-hdds
that should avoid JD waking up nas only to write logs.

Unfortunately on DSM7 that file is not in that position anymore.. in /var/packages I can't find a Jdownloader directory.

I found a JDownloader dir in /volume1/@appstore but then there is no Script dir inside it.

Could someone help me?
Thanks!

Stefano

@papinist: How did you install JDownloader ? How do you start JDownloader?
JDownloader automatically delay writes to allow disk/system to go idle, but in case you use script that redirect logs/console out to logfiles, then this action will cause system action and prevent idle

I simply followed this guide for both installation and auto start
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...s-installation

Then I read at the link posted in #1 that JD is supposed to write logs and wake the discs constantly.. maybe that info is outdated?

@papinist: In that case no further action is required.
The link in #1 is about the 3rd party community package that had logs written to disk that keeps disk active and prevented idle.
