Hi,

Is it possible to split an existing package into several new packages, one for each file in the original package?

Here's a quick example.

I have a package:

MyPackage

alpha.pdf
beta.pdf
gamma.pdf

What I'd like to have is 3 packages based on the above package's content:

alpha

alpha.pdf

beta

beta.pdf

gamma.

gamma.pdf

Each file in its own package having the same name as the file without the file extension.

That's not possible out-of-the-box but you could make use of the eventscripter and a little script that does exactly this. You could add entry to rightclick context menu for this
