Scheduling of download...
Hello everyone, I need to start some downloads at specific times and days but I have no idea how to do it with Jdownloader. In practice I want for example that a certain file is downloaded every Monday from 08.00 AM to 10.00 AM ... do you think it is possible to do so? How? Thank you!

I assume you are doing this to prevent deletion of object by free file hoster??
that said out of the box you do not get that control for JD. There is a scheduler but its designed for simple global tasks and not individual task like this file at that time.

I'm actually trying to create a video streaming recorder. I've seen that Jdownloader is able to capture these files very well but I need to start them at a certain time and day ... I thought there was a dedicated plugin ...

JDownloader has many plugins (thousands of supported content providers), without knowing your provider I'm only assuming its supported.
If the link exists before the stream is live then i guess you could add it, schedule download to start at your desired time with the scheduler. it will be a global start downloads, if you disable all other pending downloads at the time or just have that object in download list to download (same outcome). it will work as you desire. raztoki

I would suggest to make use of the eventscripter and write a script that checks for starttime and then either add/start the download or just process link in list.
Check here https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525 or ask mgpai for help. He's our script master! Can you provide example links?

@Spyro70: JDownloader doesn't properly support live streams and will only download the visible/reachable part of the m3u8 playlist and not refresh. or is it a m3u8 stream for a complete video that is different/new each day on same url?

Yeah, it's the same every day. I'm only interested in capturing a part of it at a specific time of the day.

So once the m3u8 is loaded, it contains the exact part you're interested in?

You can try yourself. Search for a generic m3u list on google and capture it with jdownloader...a few minutes and the stop download. Open it with VLC and that's all!

Yes, but there are m3u8 for vod and live video. vod playlist contains the whole clip/stream while live streams only contain the last x seconds and next y seconds and then on reload the next z seconds and s o on. such live streams are not supported and should end in small/incomplete clip.
