but you must set the timeout to 180 (second)
so it can reconnect cos this model of router take about 2 minutes to reconnect and establish a new IP

Search for D-link modems. You will probably find a DIR-6xx.

If your modem is a D-link wireless modem, search for UPNP.

It is working for my D-Link DSL-2750U router, but my router got rebooted every time. I want reconnection without rebooting through script. Any help ?

There might be other possibilities but usually a router needs to be restarted in order to get a new IP address. Why would you like to have another procedure?

I have an idea that restarting every time will reduce the life of router. By the way I am using PPoE with always on connection.

Why would restarting a router by a software mechanism reduce the life of your router? As long as you don't touch the buttons I don't see how that can happen.

If you don't want to be disconnected from the Internet you shouldn't use the reconnection feature.
