Default Clean cfg folder

Hi!

I see that in cfg folders there are some files that seems temp/backup files (some was created some years ago).

Examples:
- CaptchaDialogDimensions_[HASH].json
- downloadList[NUMBER].zip
- linkcollector[NUMBER].zip
- RememberRelativeLocator-[HASH].json
- All files in 'archives' folder

My question is: can I delete those files?

Archives ->contains archive information/settings. When I find some time I will refactor this to avoid having them stored in archives folder. They will then be part of list zips.

CaptchaDialogDimensions_[HASH].json, RememberRelativeLocator-[HASH].json
-> You can safely remove them (close JD before)

downloadList[NUMBER].zip, linkcollector[NUMBER].zip
-> JDownloader uses CopyOnWrite to avoid dataloss. By default JD will keep the last 4 files + current one. You can change number in Settings-Advanced Settings->GeneralSettings.keepxoldlists

I not understand: can I clean 'archives' folder?

In addiction, there are other folders that seems contains not important files:
- CaptchaDialogSize
- clicked
- FileChooser

I can clean them?

You can safely clear it when no links are in list else you might lose archive settings.

depening on how much you are using JD, its much more.

- JD\logs\extracting
- JD\cfg\archives
- JD\logs\updatehistory
- JD\tmp\update

there are leftover files which can get easily reach several thousand files. from my experience, above ~ 5-000 to 10.000 - depending on system - windows slows down on accessing such folders.

suggestion:
frequently scan JD folders for trash and delete them. updatehistory may be useful for debugging, but i think everything which is 2 month and older should be safe to delete.

@supaman:
for all of those folders we have pending tickets for auto cleanup.
especially the cfg/archives folder really needs proper handling, see
