Default downloaded files in package disappeared D:

Hello guys,

I'm somehow new in jDownloader and so far I'm very pleased with the features.

However this one bugged me a lot D:

I downloaded 9GB of files from Megaupload, split into 9 parts (1GB each). It forms a package.

I successfully downloaded the first one meanwhile the other 8 failed (my fault), but I cannot seem to found the files.

I'm using Mac and did thoroughly search them, also double clicked the downloaded files from the list and see the directory. However, the files is nowhere to be found.

I don't think JDUnrar add-ons is the problem (it's all unticked).

I hope you can give me solution.

You won't find those files if they didn't start downloading. That's why those 8 files failed downloading.

If you're sure you downloaded the first file it should be on one of your disks. If your download directory is not on a mounted disk, it's possible jD downloaded it elsewhere, usually in its own directories.

My download directory is in my default HD and I looked the properties and did followed the path in "save to" section, but the file is nowhere to be found.

Is it possible for jD to downloaded it elsewhere beside the one written in the "save to" section in Properties?

As I wrote it is indeed possible but only if the directory isn't accessible at the time of downloading.

Make a test with a small file, in windows, as soon as it start downloading, the file can be seen as .part. Watch that file at the end of downloading, while renaming, so you will understand how it works. If it disappeared also, upload the log, maybe there is some clue in it.
