Why do you want that? You can disable linkcheck globally, not just for google drive

I want JD to recognize link without recognizing file size.

JD must download link without displaying file size (like 19GB under Size column of Downloads menu).
I do not want to hide size column. I just want JD to not check for file size so that file size would appear "File Size Unknown" under size column.

So I suggest to disable global linkcheck, so you can add links without them being checked (no filename, filesize information available then)

To disable global linkcheck, Do I need to uncheck "Linkgrabber filter" under settings?

settings > advanced settings > LinkCollector.dolinkcheck

this can have serious adverse effects, if you use features like sub directory as packagename.
Or sorting common files into packages can not work in linkgrabber, since filenames are not known. Ends up with piles of random packages.

To your Original question, I personally would just live with how it is now. I personally do not recommend using said feature.

I received your message. Filesize check has nothing to do with that. Its totally up to Google what speed to deliver. Higher speed in the beginning and then getting slower can be normal.
