Default Attention JD community!! Run the Update.jar file

Due to a change in JDownloader 2 beta (or possible bug) it is possible that your JDownloader might close itself and never start again.

In order to get your JDownloader 2 beta version running again please open your main JDownloader directory (folder) default path; for windows is located at "C:\Program Files\JDownloader" and run the updater.jar , this will sort out the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Your JD-Team,

Last update broke my installation, after what I presume was an automatic restart (Jdownloader2 was running before) I got the error message on the right side:
Spoiler:

Trying to start "JDownloader 2.exe" gets me the one on the left.
"JDownloader 2 Updater.exe" updates fine, but trying to start afterwards yields the right error again.

I live back in 2008, back then it was called update.jar, and I probably used that word like 100000 times or even more during my history with JD. If you take data and write it to a hard drive 100000 times it is most likely that it will remain on most of the sectors. Human brain operates similarly.

Thanks for reminding me though with JDownloader 2 it is now updater.jar. Guess it is time to update myself too. Time to move forward

you're welcome
