Default Slow JD after 10 Minutes WEIRD.

Hi guys I got 2 lines at home:

Virgin media cable 50Mb.
Sky 20 Mb.

Well when I'm on Sky 20 mb it works perfect I don't have any problem but is slow.
When I use virgin 50mb after 10 minutes it's been used my conexion slow down until reach 25Kb LOL, but the rest of the Pc works perfect, I'm still talikng with my friend in skype when this happens, so I don't understand.

I've been trying limiting the connexion from (60mb in jdownloader) to 40Mb, and I got the same problem. sometimes says connection lost and sometimes most of the time is limited for itself after 10 minutes or less to 50kb, but if I stop all the downloads and I press play again, continues with its 60Mb.

Besides I've desactivate firewall and I've updated java.

I know that in virgin media 50mb cable, I got some problems look at this.

maybe your isp has some kind of
*first fast, slow then* package..which i know exists for some isp...
meaning:
first x mb will be very fast and then slow down. this is bandwith throttling by isp against leeching

Or commonly known as burst rates. You can't do much about ISP that implement aggressive forms of QoS. Must remember also cable is shared medium (with everyone in the loop) which they will QoS more than say dsl/fibre to prevent connection issues lag/latency with one(few) customer(s) using all the bandwidth within the loop.

QoS variables could be highly complicated and you will never know / understand there setup entirely. But they probably have different setup for offpeak times than peak times.

If you want to make sure its not jdownloader, use your browser to grab some files see if the download behaviour is the same. If it is, well its surely the ISP.

How exactly are you load balancing your multiple WAN connections?
