Settings-Advanced Settings-search for bypass
Youtube limits bandwidth by default to bitrate of video+audio

I'm sorry if this has been asked a 1000 times already, but I couldn't find an answer to that question. Is jDownloader able to automatically combine the 192kbit AAC audio track with the downladed video file? Just asking because I couldn't find a menu entry for that. Or is ffmpeg solely installed to extract the streams from Youtube?

When I download audio off of YouTube as a 160 k/bit OGG file, for example the audio in this YouTube video **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** all of the OGG files play in VLC but if I try to load them in other programs such as Tag&Rename or Traktor, the files are corrupt. I think it has something to do with the headers of the files. I don't have this problem with any AAC files.

@mcdickbutt: Can you provide a logfile for such a download please? https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
What OS do you use?
What tool reports that the file might be corrupt? so we can check

@raztoki

ah, I see. I tried to download all the videos uploaded by this channel:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

On the windows app, I reliably get 100 links (the most recent 100 uploaded by the channel).

I switched to my linux install though, and it it seems to work fine (goes to 300+ links)

A bit peculiar!

Yeah, that's weird

I deleted all the settings files, in case plugin/general settings may have had some effect, but it doesn't seem to have changed anything.

Oh well, it doesn't really matter, I'll just stick with linux for video downloads it seems!

What Windows version do you use? Do you use torrent at the same time?

I use Windows 10 pro. Jdownloader was the only program running.

I've actually stumbled upon this problem on my linux install as well.
I only got 30 links from this channel: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

When I copied the URL with the channel ID, instead of channel name, it finds 102 videos (there there are 456 videos apparently):
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

A bit weird!

Default 100 video max limit on youtube?

I searched but couldn't find a post about this. I noticed the LinkGrabber stops searching once it reaches 100 videos (at least on youtube), regardless of how many are in the playlist/channel that it's grabbing from.

This is a new behavior.

Is this intended?
Is there a way to remove this limit?
How can I download a full youtube channel now?

Please, how can I configure JDownloader to automatically grab all the available subtitles for a Youtube video and add them to linkgrabber?

Because the default behavior is to only grab the English subtitle instead of all the available languages. The only way I've found to download all the subtitles is to manually add the variants once the video is already in a package in Linkgrabber, but doing so takes a considerable time when downloading multiple videos, because JDownloader has to 'Load Video Information' for every single file, which was already done the first time the package got added.

So if there's any way to configure it to automatically grab all the subtitles I'd very much like to know! Thank you.

I also noticed JDownloader always stops after 100 files when processing Playlists. My guess is Youtube only makes the first 100 videos available on the playlist itself and JDownloader doesn't seem to know how to load the remaining videos.

Default Jdl Is not loading all YouTube channel's videos

I have been attempting to download the contents of a YouTube channel.

Unfortunately, when Jdownloader reaches 30 video links, it stops crawling even though there are more videos on the channel

Is there a setting I have missed or is this a problem with YT?

Merged YT threads.

The "100 items only" issue should be fixed by the next update.

@Jiaz, take this video for instance: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

If you turn on Closed Captioning in Youtube and go into the video preferences you'll see there are 16 available subtitles in several languages.

By default, adding this link into JDownloader, it will only offer to download English subtitles. The only way I have found for every subtitle to be downloaded in one go is to manually add them all through the Variants dialog.

I would like to configure JDownloader to add the subtitles for all languages to the linkgrabber automatically as soon as the link is added.

If it's already possible to do this, I would appreciate instructions on how to configure JDownloader to achieve this. If it is not, I kindly ask that it should be implemented.

Thank you.
