Rapidgator premium timeout
Hi
Have a rapidgator premium and have had for a couple of years but the last several months I keep getting timeout issues with my links and it disconnects or timeouts for 4 minutes, I have my maximum simultaneous downloads set to two but if I've got two or more rapidgator links in the queue one will timeout and the other one waiting will start, this issue never happens with my previous keep2share premium or depositfile premium both of which I no longer have but rapidgator premium yes. thanks very much. 17.08.17 05.07.21 <--> 17.08.17 17.01.51 jdlog://4876314015941/ |

Set max connections to 1 and rightclick reset.
Connection gets killed: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset This either is caused by remote firewall/server or local firewall/av. Do you use torrent at the same time? This can cause your routers NAT table to overflow and kill random connections. Also make sure to setup your firewall/av to exclude JDownloader

I have the same issue. This happened in June, July and now since I bought the premium in June.
I have tried to contact Rapidgator many many times and I was very unhappy about their replies. The recent reply from them is "it is the provider's problem" after I finally asked them to refund my money. I am still waiting for their reply to specify what provider he's talking about. RapidGator is the only file host with this issue. I have no problem using other hosts at all. I am here to see if there's anyway can help and how many of RG premium members have encountered the same issue. Hope to get replies from anyone who can share and help. Thanks! |

This problem is happening with rapidgator two weeks ago and has no arrangement whatsoever, that causes that it is not possible to download anything from the server with the premium account, however download without problems with the IDM. The same problem is being presented with alldebrid for a month

@jedus: JDownloader stops downloading in case a single connection fails whereas IDM continues and retries. That's why connection issues lead to retries in JDownloader.

Rapidgator Issues
JDownloader 2
The Rapidgator problem has been made much worse with the last update. I formerly had issues where download speeds would slowly decrease until a time out. If I disabled the download of the file, hit resume, enabled the file and then forced download, it would start fine again and slowly slow to a time-out. With the update I installed last night, most files will no longer download from Rapigator. I get a "Try restarting the link (plugin outdated)" Of course that never works. on the few files that do work, I get a one minute countdown before start of download, and the speed is painfully slow right from the outset. Downloading a file from Rapidgator using a browser works fine, and is very fast. It is a JDownloader issue. |

Rapigator Issues
Problem continues between latest update to JDownloader 2 and Rapidgator. Have a validated premium account. Will download only one Rapidgator file at a time. 50 second countdown between initiating download and actual download start. Max download speed is 50 kbps!
If you try to download multiple Rapidgator files in JDownloader 2, everything after the first files displays Try restarting this link (plugin outdated?) after the 50 second countdown. No problem downloading multiple files from Rapidgator via the web browser, all at speeds of 8-26 mbps. Problem began immediately after the last JDownloader 2 update. |

@mwald: There have been no updates at all since days. And no changes to anything related to accounts, rapidgator, downloads.
Please provide a logfile https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs for the plugin outdated error and post the shown logID here

Here is the logfile:
07.09.17 07.55.38 <--> 07.09.17 08.00.05 jdlog://6190514015941/ Still issues with Rapidgator within JDownloader. Attempted multiple files - only one file would download at a time very slowly after the new countdown delay. All files beyond the one file downloading would display the "Try restarting this link (plugin outdated?)" Attempted a couple of Keep2Share downloads and they behaved normally . . . no issues. |

very strange
that code he changed is used thousands of times in our code already I highly doubt it would have 'fixed' it otherwise we would have epic issues throughout all the other plugins.

Connection gets killed, java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
This is nothing we can fix. Either it is caused by rapidgator or by your setup /firewall/av/any other tools.

@desanic: tried a vpn/proxy in case your ISP intercepts the connection?

Seems a hoster issue 08/2018, not vpn/proxy/ISP. Download stops. At least at the moment it can continue the Download again(after about 2 hours waittime). Nearly all rapidgator files are interrupted and need more then 1 try.

I try it to get one(logs are disabled cause it spams my SSD). It seems more stable again but i got an interrupt again @524MB/1000MB. While the download of SO continues.
Dont think its JD cause it works before. |

Another user reported he had to put Rapidgator on Bitdefender exclude list to solve the issue. SSD survives lots more data than JD logs can generate.

Yeah, there is JD&Firefox&Windows....
I know how SSDs work, about write cycles, about actual trash Chips that are selled everywhere and have only 10% of the cycles of SSD that you get 10 years ago. Okay back to topic. No Bitdefender or anything that disturb Rapidgator connections. Im getting a Log, suprisely cause it usual not happend that often in a short time. I download this time from SO/Zippyshare. Means Network Traffic is at 100%. Could be only 2 things: 1. rapidgator server issues. 2. rapidgator has change the Network Timeout to a very low value. So if you do other things with your Internet you easy lose connections. Solution could be only to give rapidgator the maximum priority against other Hosters. --ID:115TS:*-20.08.18 11:11:14 - [jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk(download)] -> Chunk(0):Read timed out|todo:472225019|readMax135932 --ID:115TS:*-20.08.18 11:11:14 - [] -> java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead0(Native Method) at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead(Unknown Source) at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.io.FilterInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.io.FilterInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at org.appwork.utils.net.CountingInputStream.read(CountingInputStream.java:62) at org.appwork.utils.net.LimitedInputStream.read(LimitedInputStream.java:70) at org.appwork.utils.net.throttledconnection.ThrottledInputStream.read(ThrottledInputStream.java:133) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.download(RAFChunk.java:278) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.run0(RAFChunk.java:642) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.run(RAFChunk.java:509) --ID:115TS:*-20.08.18 11:11:14 - [jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk(download)] -> flush:exClosed:false|conClosed:false|read:25914120|toWrite:376068|written:25538052 --ID:115TS:*-20.08.18 11:11:14 - [jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk(download)] -> flushed:exClosed:false|conClosed:false|read:25914120|toWrite:-1|written:25914120 --ID:115TS:*-20.08.18 11:11:14 - [] -> java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead0(Native Method) at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead(Unknown Source) at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.io.FilterInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.io.FilterInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at org.appwork.utils.net.CountingInputStream.read(CountingInputStream.java:62) at org.appwork.utils.net.LimitedInputStream.read(LimitedInputStream.java:70) at org.appwork.utils.net.throttledconnection.ThrottledInputStream.read(ThrottledInputStream.java:133) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.download(RAFChunk.java:278) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.run0(RAFChunk.java:642) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.run(RAFChunk.java:509) --ID:115TS:*-20.08.18 11:11:14 - [] -> java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead0(Native Method) at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead(Unknown Source) at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.io.FilterInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.io.FilterInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at org.appwork.utils.net.CountingInputStream.read(CountingInputStream.java:62) at org.appwork.utils.net.LimitedInputStream.read(LimitedInputStream.java:70) at org.appwork.utils.net.throttledconnection.ThrottledInputStream.read(ThrottledInputStream.java:133) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.download(RAFChunk.java:278) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.run0(RAFChunk.java:642) at jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk.run(RAFChunk.java:509) --ID:115TS:*-20.08.18 11:11:14 - [jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk(download)] -> Read timeout: network problems! java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out are local caused. Something causes reads from tcp socket to stall (no data available). Those are caused by Firewall/AV most of the times. Read timeout is not *loss of connection* !
In case you're using Bitdefender, it CAN be the cause even without it showing any notification/logs. https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...&postcount=142

I wrote it already above: There is no Bitdefender and no Softwarefirewall. And no AV that can access the Internet Traffic.
If a Program that runs all the time why it should only interrupt 0-3 Downloads/day? It would have interrupt all or none, its not logical. If you get no Data its a) the Server send none b) you read to slow(buffer full, too much cpu load-JD!) -> Timeout. If a 1.7 MB/s Connection is 100% used that can happend if a Server have a low Timeout. Its the same if you have weak wifi, the connection is not lost at all but the Frames get only repeated a limited number of times and your file is incomplete. Rapidgator support resume but it count a 1000MB File even if you downloaded only 10MB. There is no new Software on my system exept the new JD Version(but this was already with the old Version) and rapidgator works before. |
