Default Klicken Sie auf N Load funktioniert nicht in Windows 7 x 64 + FireFox 3,6

http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=14386
Hello, first of all thank you very much for this excellent JDownloader.

I have been using JDownloader for about 10 days and it's excellent with no problems at all......yesterday I visited a site which provides download links via linksave and I was told I needed to install Click N Load and I tried that under settings but no matter what I do, after clicking the "install Click N Load" button - NOTHING happened! ( the only thing that happened was JDownloader telling me it's gonna write to the registry and asked my permission and I selected OK, after that NOTHING happened) )and I must had uninstall/reinstall JDownloader at least 10 times and still couldn't get that Click N Load to work in FireFox 3.6!

I even went as far as downloading the Click N Load .xpi and dropped in FireFox's add-ons, this time Click N Load at least appears in the add-ons menu, but that's it, when I visit a web page which has Click N Load link, NOTHING happened after clicking the CLick N Load button!

OS Windows 7 x64
Browser latest FireFox 3.6
AntiVir AntiVirus
JRE 6.0.170.4 (JDownloader,exe, java.exe and javaw.exe allowed in Firewall)
JDwonloader 0.9.579 with latest updates
WRT54GL router with Tomato firmware

Thank you in advance for your help.

Klicken Sie, dass N Load in FireFox 3,6 work!

Please install Click'n'Load and then Reboot (restart) your computer before trying to use it.

Click'n'Load is just a set of registry entries, and Windows "7" does not re-read that part of the registry until you reboot.

You do not need to open any firewall service ports for JDownloader, unless you are trying to control it from another computer.

Hi again, tried 5 times:unsure: and still no go!...every time I click on the Click N Load icon on the linksave page, I only saw a brief message of connecting to localhost at the bottom status bar of FireFox and that's it, NOTHING happened?

Your question about the firewall might be on the right track. Some firewalls restrict IP communication, even on LOCALHOST. Try opening port 9666 as a listener (incoming) port for JDownloader, but only for local (or trusted) sources (not the whole Internet).

The easiest way to find out if this is the problem is to disable the firewall temporarily. Remember, if you have a firewall in your router, the software firewall is primarily to protect the rest of the internet from viruses on your computer.
