[Solved] DepositFiles.com Problems [International]

Hi,

I'm a complete newbie in here and I hope I do everything correct

The problem I got today is plugin error when trying to download from depositfiles.com - here's the log:

I had the same problem and I didn't notice any update, but the plugin is working fine again.

Since a few days now I'm getting errors about the Depositfiles plugin being 'out of date'. SkipSkreen (**External links are only visible to Support Staff**www.skipscreen.com) plugin for Firefox is also having problems with Depositfiles (landing in an infinite loop), so I'm guessing they changed something in their routines.

I have tried multiple times to update and restart JD to force it to update anything relevant, but this does not solve the problem.

JD version: 0.9.581
Java version: 6v23
Windows 7 x64
DF plugin version: 13393
I do not have a premium account btw, just trying to download with the default settings.

I'd post a Log file, but my JD keeps on locking up if I enable the Logger. Still, I'm expecting this bug can be easily replicated with any link to depositfiles.

Sorry for that, I scrolled through this subforum and didn't find any info about this plugin. Seems I haven't looked closely enough.
(btw, it still isn't working for me, but I'm guessing it will in a days time.)

yes, they try to block jd again..too bad they also block their premium customers by doing so. update will come soon

If i were you i would complain to the depositfiles support because they actually try to block JD which is not very nice of them

thnx fr ur every help.prob is tht i just updated with 42 updates having latest version of JD.It was said that this update would have fix to the 3-4days old prob of Depositfiles.com hoster...but the problem continues..log file attached.

Unfortunately, I can confirm this. After the > 40 JD-Updates depositfiles.com still says "Plugin defekt".

I can confirm that the rev. 13451 Depositfile plug-in, which today has replaced the rev. 13393 one, still does not work, unfortunately.
Anyway, wish to thank so much the JD staff for the standing mantaining the software and the support.

i believe in you guys, u can fix this problem many people i think waiting this fix

i think a lot of people using DF premium, and they uploading files in this host, i'm free user of DF so downloading that files is very hard, your program JD is the best way to get these files. I copy links and not have to waiting while time runs out, i can drive out in job, to my friends, when i came back, JD is downloaded many files self, it's really HELP.

2. I've had an update today and tried to download from deposit files. The same error occured (that's why I want to find the logs).

Skipscreen (the next best thing after JD) is also malfunctioning on DF, so it seems they are actually on a streak to ban everything and everyone - it's not just JD. Oh well, I've started to download the bigger files through the website. That will take so long that hopefully by the time they are finished an update is there

Hi all, by a couple of days i always get this kind of error trying to download from Depositiles... plugin error (out of date). I checked for all new updates of the program, but also with the last updates this problem persists.
Can some one help me please?

+ 'positfiles.com/auth-1296142615e8d3' + 'stopjd' it seems DPF peeps added a script that if it detects a java download script then block it. the stopjd part was suppose to be also a show_b.

well i can download this morning using JD files under 200mb but files over that is blocked for me. IF you can by pass the first check or bluff the script by saying this a html script then there is possiblility. I tried downloading using a Freedownload manager and still works so its only java scripts for download are being blocked

It's simple.
We regexed the JS and replaced ( |\\+|\\') by "" (=remove them).
They just added extra JS.
I won't play their game.
It's up to depositfiles to chase their own users away and minimize their income by doing that;)

Rather than trying to parse Depositfile's Javascript with regex, have you considered using an actual Javascript parser? For example, Rhino is an open source Javascript parser written in Java which you could use. And it's made by Mozilla so it likely is just as functional as the Javascript parser used in Firefox. Using this you could always extract the link. For Depositfiles to break functionality with JDownloaer if it used this they'd essentially also have to break functionality for all Firefox users (which they would never do).

Really glad you figured out the source of the problem. Maybe complainign to DF will get them to stop their game-playing.

From what you wrote, does this mean the JD won't be issuing an update for this?

At least i won't fix it anymore because by doing this we even support their game and we do what they want.
Depositfiles should see their costumers running away from them, then they might stop this game...

at least they should rethink their strategy and provide an api for their premium customers. at the moment they block free/premium(?).
for free users they should also rethink it but i guess they need to see a decreases in customers numbers first.

we will try to keep it working (by adding js support) but that might take some time.
