This is adding to what pspzockerscene wrote: Please restart JDownloader twice before testing new links. This makes sure it is up to date. Please provide at least 3 links that do not work in JDownloader, but work in a browser. |

Restarted JD twice. I only have one link that is not working: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Link works okay in browser. JD downloaded some of it before deciding plug in is out of date and will not resume. log: http://jdownloader.net:8081/pastebin...8b8f4ab8a78f58 |

The link you gave works well in jD. Something else must be wrong.

@ echo: The log shows that this is not a Plugin error. Please get the Properties on the file and tell us the exact number of bytes in the file. Make sure the file is not read only. ------------------------------- JDownloader reports all errors during connection as Plugin errors (a bug). The actual error message is 416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable. It appears that HTTP elements for both an HTML page and the requested file were included in the header. The GET was for a data stream. Megaupload seems to have wanted to send an HTML stream. Request: Range: bytes=212870564-581959680 . . . Request Accept: text/html,application/xhtml xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 Response: Content-Range: bytes */581959680 |

JD comes up with the message "plugin error" as per the image in my post above. It downloaded 480MB of 555MB file when this happened. I have had this before when I have been able to delete it and restart from scratch with no problems, but since I have a limited download limit and this had already downloaded a sizable chunk I had hoped to resume the download from the point it stopped rather than delete the 480MB and start from zero.. I don't know why it stopped. I have a premium account so should be able to resume without any problems. I like JD because it extracts files when it has finished, but this type of error has happened a few times so I'll go back to using megamanager and extracting files manually. |

this is a servererror as some megaupload servers have this bug. others work well and can be resumed. i never had such a file or such a bug. if you have more links that cant be resumed, please send me pm in forum and i will add autodetect for non resumable links. what we can do is to auto reset if such an error occurs. but this file at that moment is not resumable.

I am guessing that the server had a communication error and shut down the connection. That would cause JDownloader to automatically try to reconnect at the TCP level. The server had closed both the TCP and HTTP connections, so it was ready for a resume, not a TCP reconnect (thus we asked for the data file and it wanted to respond with HTML).
The file may be resumable after changing IP or restarting JD. |
