Angry Jdownloader is making me wait 8 hours!? To finish my download

Hey, I'm downloading a 7gb file. It downloaded up to 90% but then it now says bandwidth exceeded, please get a premium account to continue (or something along those lines.) And there is now an 8 hour countdown on the ETA. Is there a workaround for this?

configure the reconnection module (Settings > reconnect), and enable it on the toolbar. On IP block it will auto IP reconnect and bypass those restrictions.

Do you mean complete the reconnection wizard? What do you mean enable toolbar? Can you provide a more detailed instruction? Sorry for my poor english

It is not JDownloader that makes you waiting. The hoster makes you waiting by limiting bandwidth/traffic for free users. Either you get yourself a multihoster/premium account or setup reconnect so JDownloader can restart/reconnect your router in order to get a new IP.
Settings-Reconnect and setup your Reconnect there

It seems this plugin is obsolete with the Livebox 2...

What exactly doesn't work? Reconnect or a plugin?

Did you try to setup via upnp? Did you try to record a reconnect script with the reconnect recorder?

Check your Router if there are settings available to enable UPNP. If yes, then try upnp module in JDownloader and use autoconfig feature

In that case you have to try to record your own script. No guarantee that it will work.
Select LiveHeader and click 'Create new Script' and try to record it

Unfortunately, I don't know how to write a script and all the existing scripts failed... :( I'll try to contact someone who has the same router than me (Sagemcom Livebox 2). Do you know if there's a category to submit a script request?

Thanks a lot for your support anyway!

You can ask for help here, https://board.jdownloader.org/forumdisplay.php?f=2

You don't have to write script yourself. You can tryout the reconnect recorder that records how you do a reconnect in browser. and maybe that recorded script will work

Unfortunately, I already tried to use the reconnect assistant with LiveHeader and UNPN but none of them found a working script...

Hey, I clicked on "database of browser scripts" and I tried two scripts, the second one seems to work since my Livebox restarts whenever I click on reconnection!? However, it restarts very slowly...

typically rebooting device is slow as fk...
you are better off finding the wan connection and disconnect and reconnect, usually can perform task within 5 seconds vs minute

hey

I just realised I didn't reply to your last message, thanks for the tip I'll try that out soon.

Now I have another problem, the auto-reconnect doesn't work anylonger since the last update. Whichever script I test, JD says "java.lang.NullPointerException"...

Log shows no error. Does the reconnect work fine when you do it manually in your browser? Check if your public IP has changed. One script looks like it worked but reconnect took very long. Script waited 19 secs but computer is not online again in that time

I'm not sure since the IP doesn't change after using the "relaunch Internet connexion" on the web interface (which lasts less than 10 sec). I have to use the restart feature in order to change it

I guess that is the cause. The script looks like reconnect and not restart. You can try to record a reconnect and check if that works

You can try to create it yourself with the reconnect recorder. It just records what you do manually in your browser

I just tried but whether I relaunch my Internet connexion or restarts the box itself via the browser, the recording process doesn't move

In that case the external IP doesn't change. The recorder stops when IP has changed

The IP changed after I manually restarted the box but the script created by JD doesn't work, it's trying to reconnect for many minutes

And that recording does not stop? I can take a look via Teamviewer if you like, just send an e-mail to support@jdownloader.org

It does after a very long time. Thanks a lot for your support but I prefer not to give a stranger an access to my laptop - no offence I really don't understand why none of your features doesn't work anymore, it used to work fine so far though...

Nothing has changed in JDownloader in Reconnect feature. The logs look all good. Maybe the reconnect just takes longer and your script doesnt wait long enough
You can change wait timer in Settings-Advanced Settings-search 'wait for'
In your script there could also be sleep commands where you can modify the timer

It's set on 1680s. Regarding the script generated by JD, I don't find "timer" and there's no searching feature. Why the heck did it suddenly stop working...!!!
